This ocean-crossing voyage is the perfect blend of shore adventures and time enjoying life onboard. Settle in as two relaxing sea days take us from Fort Lauderdale to San Juan, Puerto Rico’s lively capital. The gingerbread houses and quaint cafés of Marigot follow, before we visit the Georgian-era dockyard where Nelson sheltered his fleet in St John’s, Antigua. Then we have five days at sea crossing the Atlantic – make the most of the spa, relax on the pool deck, and practice your moves on the pickleball courts – before we arrive in Spain. The Canary Islands are a rewarding mix of colonial-style architecture, cobbled streets, historic buildings, and striking black-sand beaches, and we call at several so you can experience it all: Santa Cruz de la Palma, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, La Gomera, and Lanzarote. We then cross into Portuguese waters for two days in Funchal, Madeira – ample time to admire its world-renowned gardens, take the cable car up into the mountains for far-reaching views across the city to the shimmering Atlantic, and experience its buzzing nightlife. A sea day takes us south to the African coastline, with stops in Agadir and Casablanca in Morocco – be sure to browse the souks for souvenirs. We cross back to Spain to see Cádiz, often regarded as the oldest city in Western Europe, with a rich architectural and cultural legacy to explore. Finally, we return to Portugal, relaxing on the glorious beaches of Portimão before arriving in beautiful Lisbon, where our journey ends.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

mar 23, 2027

8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

San Juan, Puerto Rico picture
Puerto Rico's capital makes a strong impression – even before you arrive on shore. Sailing into the harbor, keep an eye out for El Morro, a 16th-century citadel and UNESCO World Heritage Site, Castillo San Cristobal, a fearsome fortress built to scare away invaders, and La Fortaleza, the impressive official residence of the Governor of Puerto Rico. Once ashore, step back in time along cobbled streets and through squares flanked by pastel-colored Spanish colonial buildings. Or take your pick of beaches – will it be the golden-sanded Isla Verde, the snorkeler-approved El Escambrón, or the laid-back Ocean Park? Just don't leave San Juan without sampling a piña colada (or two) – the tropical cocktail was invented here in the 1950s.

8 EXCURSIONS

St. John`s, Antigua And Barbuda picture
St. John's is the compact, colorful capital of twin-island nation Antigua and Barbuda and an ideal base for exploring all that the islands have to offer. Step off the ship straight into the heart of the action: wander bustling markets; admire pretty, pastel-hued buildings; and discover historic sites like the neo-Baroque St. John's Cathedral and the Museum of Antigua and Barbuda, housed in the 18th-century Old Court House. Many of Antigua's beaches are within easy reach of St. John's, so take your pick. Dickenson Bay is a hit with swimmers and snorkelers for its calm, clear waters, while the powdery sands of Runaway Beach are perfect for more secluded relaxation.

Santa Cruz de La Palma (Canary Islands), Spain

mar 31, 2027

12:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Santa Cruz de La Palma (Canary Islands), Spain picture
Often referred to as `La Isla Bonita` (The Beautiful Island), La Palmas is renowned for its exceptional natural beauty and ecological diversity. Certainly, its lush forests, rugged volcanic terrain, stunning coastlines, and clear skies, make it a popular destination for nature enthusiasts, hikers, stargazers, and travelers seeking to experience the island's unique charm. Today, the city remains a vibrant testament to its storied past and has a history rooted in Spanish colonization. Founded in 1493 by conquistador Alonso Fernández de Lugo, it quickly became a significant port for transatlantic trade. Prosperity flowed as sugar, tobacco, and other goods from the Americas passed through its port. The city's robust growth led to the construction of defensive fortifications against pirate attacks. Throughout its history, Santa Cruz de La Palma experienced cultural exchange and emigration, contributing to its diverse heritage. Its well-preserved colonial architecture, like the La Palma Cathedral and Casa Salazar, bears witness to its historical significance.

13.

Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain

apr 01, 2027

8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

10 EXCURSIONS

Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain picture
Santa Cruz de Tenerife is a city steeped in history. The island's spectrum of vistas goes from sea to sky, from golden beaches to lush mountains, including the stunning UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Anaga Mountain. As the vibrant capital of the island, Santa Cruz offers a plethora of activities; enjoy the historic downtown (where you can admire the colonial architecture and visit the Church of the Immaculate Conception) or relax on the golden sands of Playa de las Teresitas. Culinary enthusiasts won't be left wanting either - savor local Canarian dishes, including the indomitable Papas Arrugadas con Mojo (small, boiled potatoes with a red or green sauce). The destination's origins date back to the 15th century when it served as a crucial stopover for explorers en route to the New World when Alonso Fernández de Lugo arrived on the island of Tenerife and conquered the indigenous Guanche kingdoms. In the region where Santa Cruz now stands, the Guanches had a settlement known as Añazo, which was later destroyed by the Spanish.

14.

Las Palmas (Gran Canaria), Spain

apr 02, 2027

arrival 6:00 AM

Las Palmas (Gran Canaria), Spain picture
Las Palmas is the capital of Gran Canaria, in the Canary Islands. You can hit the beach without leaving the city - its waterfront is blessed with sandy stretches shelving into gentle blue waters. For a fix of Spanish culture, head to the Vegueta, Las Palmas' picturesque Old Town, where the narrow cobbled streets are lined with grand houses in traditional Canarian architectural style, and squares like Plaza de Santa Ana are dotted with palm trees and low-key bars and cafes. Playa El Confital offers tranquil rock pools and secluded coves popular with naturists.

15.

San Sebastian (La Gomera), Spain

apr 03, 2027

8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

San Sebastian (La Gomera), Spain picture
The capital of La Gomera, second-smallest of the Canary Islands, San Sebastián is not much more than a small town but it sets the tone for what's to come. La Gomera is barely touched by tourism, frequented more by walkers and nature lovers than the party seekers who throng the livelier islands. And that's the beauty of it. Here, the pace of life is blissfully slow: lunches at rustic restaurants become long, languid affairs the sun works its magic on work-weary shoulders, and plans for energetic hikes through the mountainous landscape get shelved in favor of lazing on black-sand beaches. Even Christopher Columbus, who called here in 1492 en route to the Americas, only planned to stop for a few days to restock but ended up staying a month (there's a museum dedicated to him in San Sebastián). It's well worth rousing yourself, however, to seek out sights such as Los Organos, the striking lava formations that resemble organ pipes, and explore the deep gorges and towering sheer cliffs. Don't miss the UNESCO-listed Garajonay National Park, home to an ancient, cloud- and mist-cloaked laurel rainforest that creates the perfect conditions for a remarkable array of flora and fauna – and makes a walk here feel like something out of Jurassic Park.

16.

Arrecife, Lanzarote, Spain

apr 04, 2027

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Arrecife, Lanzarote, Spain picture
Packed with endlessly varied landscapes, traditional villages, busy towns, gastronomic delights, and a thriving local culture, Lanzarote is one of the most diverse islands in the Canaries. The island has escaped mass tourism and the vibe here is decidedly Canarian but firmly Spanish. The capital city showcases its 17th-century heritage with pride which is apparent everywhere in Arrecife: from hearty fish stews to Andalucian-inspired architecture. Head to the old quarter to visit the beautiful San Ginés Church for its Mudéjar-style ceiling or head north to leafy Haria for the Casa-Museo César Manrique, a museum set in the local artist and designer's house. The entire island is a UNESCO Geopark so guests venturing outside of the city should expect a lunar-like landscape, especially if they venture to Timanfaya National Park, just 30 minutes from Arrecife.

Agadir, Morocco

apr 08, 2027

7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Agadir, Morocco picture
Sun, sand and sea is what Agadir is famous for, yet there's much more to discover in this beach city at the foot of the Atlas Mountains. A devastating earthquake in 1960 reset the townscape but remnants of Morocco's past can be found amid the ruins of the original Kasbah, the bustling maze of streets that is the souk, and the port where fishermen still bring in their catch each day, which you can try fresh from the grill. Take this all in from the Kasbah built in 1990 by Italian architect Coco Polizzi, which doubles as the place for fabulous views of the city and its coast.

21.

Casablanca, Morocco

apr 09, 2027

10:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Casablanca, Morocco picture
With visions of Bergman and Bogart filling the imagination, it's easy to explore the French-colonial design and narrow alleyways of the old Medina, and bargain-filled souks are reminders of mysterious days past. Yet this gleaming city has a firm grasp on the 21st century and today encompasses broad palm-lined boulevards, attractive public parks and soaring high-rises.

22.

Cadiz, Spain

apr 10, 2027

10:00 AM - 10:00 PM

Cadiz, Spain picture
Uncover the magic of Cadiz, one of Europe's oldest cities where the sea and heritage come together in perfect harmony. Tracing its roots back to the Phoenicians, this thriving cosmopolitan city seamlessly blends old-world charm with contemporary sophistication. Take a leisurely stroll through its cobbled streets and marvel at the stunning Moorish castles, magnificent ancient ruins, and quaint pastel homes. Indulge in the flavors of its renowned Andalusian cuisine, featuring fresh seafood and local wines, and take in the impressive sea views of this captivating city.

23.

Portimão, Portugal

apr 11, 2027

7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Portimão, Portugal picture
The white contour of a church on a hilltop, the narrow streets of the old fishermen and tradesmen quarter, the presence of the sea and the immense beach known as Praia da Rocha identify the character of Portimao. The old town is dominated by the architecture of the late 19th and 20th centuries: houses boasting wrought-iron balconies, ornate stonework around the windows and doors, balustrades of stone and tile-covered ceramics and walls. This southern Portuguese port is the gateway to many historic towns of the Algarve region. The town offers a rich heritage of historical monuments and the eternal natural beauty of the Ria de Alvor. Portimao is also known for its extraordinary Portuguese cuisine. To savour the spirit of Portimao, there is nothing better than to sit in the shade of the trees in the gardens of Manuel Bivar, to watch the fishing boats sail by and to walk through streets and squares that exude the ambience of an active, hard-working town.

24.

Lisbon, Portugal

apr 12, 2027

arrival 5:00 AM

Lisbon, Portugal picture
From Moorish walls and Manueline carvings to elaborate azulejo tiles and Gothic arches – the traces of Lisbon's rich history can be seen and felt simply by wandering its storied (and rather hilly) streets. But Europe's second-oldest city is also one of its most cosmopolitan, and amid historic landmarks like Jerónimos Monastery and São Jorge Castle, you'll find chic rooftop bars with views across red terracotta rooftops and the sparkling Tagus river, design-led concept stores selling artisanal souvenirs, and stylish restaurants serving up inventive takes on local ingredients.
