Get into the rhythm of life on the ocean with a day sailing the high seas to Semarang in Java. Uncover the legacy of the Dutch at Gereja Blenduk church, with its distinct copper dome, and the Chinese influence at the Sam Poo Kong temple, founded by the 16th-century Chinese explorer Zheng Ho. Another day at sea brings us to Singapore, where we stay the night. Sample spicy delights at the hawker stalls and admire some of the 1.5 million plants gathered from almost every continent at Gardens By The Bay – despite the futuristic skyline, this is the greenest city in Asia.
