Our adventure begins with two relaxing days at sea as we make our way towards our first destination, the Royal Naval Dockyard in Bermuda. Once a key strategic location for the British fleet, it’s now the historic setting for exciting entertainment venues and great restaurants. An overnight here offers plenty of time to soak it all in. Now, it’s time to cross the Atlantic to Europe – use your time at sea to make the most of Crystal Grace’s sumptuous spa, incredible dining options, and onboard golf coach. Portugal comes into view now. We’ll make three stops at the Azores archipelago – Horta, Praia da Vitoria, and Ponta Delgada – with exciting activities including whale watching, sampling the islands’ delicious wines, and hiking to dramatic volcanic crater lakes. A final day at sea brings us to the Canary Islands, first to the cobbled streets of Santa Cruz de la Palma on the island of La Palma and then our final destination, sun-drenched Las Palmas on Gran Canaria.

Horta, Portugal

apr 19, 2029

8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Don't be fooled by Horta's isolated location in the Atlantic on the Azorean island of Faial – for centuries, this fascinating city has seen many come and go, playing host to sailors of every stripe, from intrepid explorers to pleasure seekers and naval seamen. The historic tangle of streets, which winds around former merchants' houses and statuesque churches, bookended in time by the 16th-century defensive walls and the gleaming contemporary marina, is perfect for exploring on foot. Horta's rich, seafaring heritage is best experienced with a sunset GT at the world-famous Peter Café Sport – a bar that has been welcoming sailors to the island since 1918.

11.

Praia da Vitoria, Portugal

apr 20, 2029

8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

On the east coast of Terceira in the Azores, the port of Praia da Vitória offers a gateway to fine beaches, sea pools, and the sight of “happy cows” - the Ramo Grande cattle that graze this island's pastures year-round. But the star of this show is the UNESCO World Heritage site of Angra do Heroísmo, the archipelago's oldest city, where you can lose yourself in cobbled streets and attractive squares, and see baroque cathedrals, maritime forts, and other landmarks that are a testament to the island's prosperity during the Age of Discovery. Learn more about it at the Museum of Angra do Heroísmo. Terceira's volcanic soil nurtures tasty produce. Try tempting rustic dishes such as alcatra, a clay pot stew, washed down with a glass of delicious local wine.

12.

Ponta Delgada, Portugal

apr 21, 2029

7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Striking, atmospheric and delightfully unspoilt, the streets of the Azorean capital are lined with historic mansions and houses, blazing white against the cobalt sky, edged and decorated with traditional black basalt stone. A fantastic destination for wildlife lovers, in spring and summer boats head out of here each morning to spot the dolphins, whales, and sea turtles making their way through the Atlantic waters. But the city's three lush botanic gardens, beautiful Azulejo tiling in the ornate churches, and shorefront boardwalk lined with boutiques and restaurants, makes it ideal to visit at any time of year.

Santa Cruz de La Palma, Spain

apr 23, 2029

10:00 AM - 7:00 PM

1 EXCURSION

Often referred to as `La Isla Bonita` (The Beautiful Island), La Palmas is renowned for its exceptional natural beauty and ecological diversity. Certainly, its lush forests, rugged volcanic terrain, stunning coastlines, and clear skies, make it a popular destination for nature enthusiasts, hikers, stargazers, and travelers seeking to experience the island's unique charm. Today, the city remains a vibrant testament to its storied past and has a history rooted in Spanish colonization. Founded in 1493 by conquistador Alonso Fernández de Lugo, it quickly became a significant port for transatlantic trade. Prosperity flowed as sugar, tobacco, and other goods from the Americas passed through its port. The city's robust growth led to the construction of defensive fortifications against pirate attacks. Throughout its history, Santa Cruz de La Palma experienced cultural exchange and emigration, contributing to its diverse heritage. Its well-preserved colonial architecture, like the La Palma Cathedral and Casa Salazar, bears witness to its historical significance.

Las Palmas is the capital of Gran Canaria, in the Canary Islands. You can hit the beach without leaving the city - its waterfront is blessed with sandy stretches shelving into gentle blue waters. For a fix of Spanish culture, head to the Vegueta, Las Palmas' picturesque Old Town, where the narrow cobbled streets are lined with grand houses in traditional Canarian architectural style, and squares like Plaza de Santa Ana are dotted with palm trees and low-key bars and cafes. Playa El Confital offers tranquil rock pools and secluded coves popular with naturists.
