Sail into spring on this two-week exploration of the South China Sea. Leaving Hong Kong in your wake, our first call is ethereal Ha Long Bay, where emerald waters lap against towering limestone cliffs to create one of the world's most serene seascapes. Staying in Vietnam, the next stop is Da Nang, gateway to the UNESCO-listed imperial city of Hue and its majestic Royal Citadel. Two days in the happy cacophony of Ho Chi Mihn City follow, promising plenty of time to see the ex-Saigon city like a local. Sail on past the tip of Vietnam's southern territory, passing the Cambodian coast for an overnight in busy, buzzing Bangkok, where bright lights beckon and serene temples soothe. Just a short sail south finds us on the paradise island of Koh Samui for Thai boxing and tempting banquets. A final sea day sailing the Gulf of Thailand, then finish the cruise with an overnight in Singapore, perfect to see the bucket-list Gardens by the Bay lit up in their neon splendor.
