Enjoy a journey of approximately one hour to the village of Batubulan, where you will witness a private Barong dance performance. This traditional, story-telling dance narrates the universal theme of good versus evil, demonstrated in the unique, Balinese way, with a lion-like creature as the king of spirits battling the demon queen.

After a round of applause, depart for the town of Celuk, known as a center for crafting works in gold and silver. See artistic designs and perhaps observe artisans demonstrating their skills before continuing to Kemenuh. Here, you will appreciate how talented craftsmen turn rough pieces of wood into beautiful statues and masks.

45 minutes from Kemenuh is Tohpati, a town known for the production of batik. With your visit to a workshop, you will see how pieces of ordinary cloth go from blank canvas to gorgeous work of art using a wax – resist dying technique. Hues might include indigo, brown and white, with the colors and patterns often representing a person’s rank and association with a certain region. Depictions of animals and flowers illustrate scenes from daily life.

Afterwards, enjoy a refreshing beverage and a light snack.

Having become acquainted with the customs and crafts of Bali, return to the pier and your Crystal ship with a journey of approximately 45 minutes.
