Departing your Crystal ship, board your local transportation and journey into the boreal forests surrounding Baie-Comeau.

Arriving at this 10,000-year-old geological site, The Seashell Valley, walk along boardwalk paths amongst tons of seashells piled over 10,000 years. This exceptional geological site is a remnant of the Champlain Sea, now the St. Lawrence River.

As you walk amongst the 50 feet high shell walls, learn how glaciers carved this valley, how this unique feature was formed, and spend time digging and identifying these ancient shells.

Departing the Seashell Valley, enjoy a short scenic drive of Baie-Comeau’s heritage area, including Place La Salle (Baie-Comeau’s shopping district).

As your excursion comes to an end, reflect on your unique discovery.

Important Notes:

It is recommended that guests dress in warm, layered clothing and wear flat, comfortable shoes. Guests should also bring raingear in case of inclement weather. The order of sights visited may vary. This Crystal Adventures excursion MUST be pre-reserved.

If cancellation of the above Crystal Adventure is made within 30 days of arrival in the excursion port, there will be a 100% cancellation fee charged to the guest's shipboard account. In the event guests cancel their cruise within 30 days of arrival in the excursion port, this cancellation fee will be charged throught the Crystal Cruises corporate office.
