Bonefishing is a great way to soak up the sun and test your angling skills. This experience takes guests two at a time on board a shallow boat to cast a line, fly fishing style, for the lightening quick bonefish that hang out in schools in the island’s clear, shallow waters.
Meet your local guide at the tender dock and board the flat skiff, the type of boat typically used on the Anegada reefs. Make your way to a site selected for optimal fishing conditions, trusting your guide to find a prime spot. Two guests will be taken out at a time for a chance to fish for up to four hours.
Using a rod and line, try your hand at catching a variety of game fish. Anglers can spend hours in waters 8 inches to 2 feet deep, casting into the schools of silver bonefish visible below. Weighing between three and 10 pounds, these fish are, pound for pound, the strongest fighting fish in the world.
Return to shore having spent some time indulging your passion for fishing and enjoying the idyllic Caribbean locale.
Guests must be a minimum of 8 years of age in order to participate. It is recommended that guests dress in lightweight, casual clothing appropriate for fishing. Guests should wear a hat and sunscreen.
