The approximately three-hour journey reveals stunning views of Summit Lake, Turnagain Pass and Turnagain Arm. Meanwhile, your knowledgeable driver/guide will share with you the history and geography of the area.

As you arrive in Anchorage, enjoy a short introduction to this thriving city, the largest in Alaska. Sights you may wish to see during your independent visit include the Anchorage Museum of History & Art, the Alaska Aviation Museum and, outside of town, the Alaska Zoo, home to some of Alaska’s famous wildlife. With four hours of free time, you will have plenty of opportunities to shop, dine and discover the city’s unique appeal.

At the appointed hour, re-board your motor coach for the scenic return journey to Seward.

Important Notes:Guests should be aware that this excursion is an approximately six-hour, round-trip transfer to Anchorage, where guests will spend the day exploring the city independently. As weather can be unpredictable, it is recommended that guests dress in layers, including warm, waterproof clothing. It is also recommended that guests wear flat, comfortable shoes. Except for road closure or heavy snow or ice on the roads, this transfer will operate in all weather conditions.
