Drive to Santa Pola from the pier in Alicante, about 20 minutes south. Board a boat and cruise three nautical miles out to Tabarca Island, a little fishing island with a big marine population.

Tabarca Island was declared a Mediterranean Marine Reserve in 1986 and protections were put in place to preserve the rich and diverse natural flora and fauna. Upon arrival, receive a safety briefing for the snorkeling gear and the diving area from your experienced guides, who will escort you to two separate diving spots for the day. In addition to the vibrant underwater marine life, the submerged landscape is beautiful to observe. Follow your guides closely, as no one knows the area better than they do.

Once the snorkeling is concluded, enjoy free time on shore to have a picnic lunch, sunbathe, swim, or just relax and savor the moment before returning to the pier in Alicante.
