Following breakfast, travel inland through the East Bali countryside toward Pura Besakih (Besakih Temple), the island’s largest and most important Hindu temple complex. Set dramatically on the slopes of Mount Agung, Bali’s sacred volcano, the extensive sanctuary offers fascinating insight into Balinese spirituality, ceremonial traditions, and centuries of religious devotion. Following the visit, enjoy lunch at TAPA Agung overlooking the surrounding landscapes before continuing to Kertha Gosa, the former royal court of the Klungkung Kingdom. Admire its historic pavilions, ornamental setting, and intricately painted ceilings depicting traditional law and mythology.
