Hotel Packages

Do Crystal's hotel packages offer accessible accommodation (ADA)?

Yes, Crystal ensures that partnered hotels provide accessible accommodation to meet the needs of all guests. Please specify any accessibility requirements at the time of booking to ensure suitable arrangements.

Will I earn loyalty points or rewards by booking hotels through Crystal?

Crystal's hotel packages are designed to provide seamless service and exclusive benefits. However, they do not contribute toward earning Crystal Society loyalty points or rewards. Once your hotel package is confirmed, you may add your loyalty information to the hotel’s independent reward program (if applicable).

Am I able to make voluntary changes to my hotel package?

The hotel program is curated for the needs of each guest. Changes and customization may always be requested but are not guaranteed. Fees may apply depending on the request.

When booking hotel packages through Crystal are transfers included?

One group transfer is included either from hotel to pier (pre-voyage) or pier to hotel (post-voyage). Private transfers may be arranged at an additional cost.

What is the latest time that hotel packages may be arranged?

It is recommended that guests book their hotel package prior to the final payment date and no later than seven days prior to sailing to avoid potential delays and discrepancies.

What is the benefit of booking a hotel package pre and post sailing with Crystal?

It is always recommended to fly in for your voyage at least one day prior to sailing to allow for any air delays/cancellations. The benefit of booking a Crystal-partner hotel is that each property has already been vetted by Crystal for its service level standards plus they are inclusive of your transportation to or from the ship.

Where can I view the recommended hotels for my select voyage?

Crystal-partner hotels are available to view by voyage at crystalcruises.com under Land Experiences and Pre and Post Hotel Stays. These options can also be provided to you by your Travel Advisor or Personal Cruise Consultant.

Can I upgrade my room category in a hotel package?

Yes, upgraded room categories may be reserved for a supplemental fee when booking the hotel package. We recommend requesting an upgrade quote prior to booking the standard option available. Upgrades at the property will be based upon availability and Crystal cannot guarantee pricing.

What is included in your pre- and post-cruise hotel packages?

Crystal hotel packages always include breakfast daily (offerings may vary), taxes, fees, and a transfer to or from the ship.

Am I able to book a pre or post-cruise hotel stay through Crystal?

Yes, we encourage guests to add a pre- and post-cruise hotel package to their reservation to avoid any issues that may arise from air delays/cancellations during their travels. Crystal offers a hotel portfolio of expertly vetted properties for these stays in each port city/area.

What is the Crystal Hotel Program?

The Crystal hotel program is a portfolio of carefully selected properties worldwide that have been vetted and carefully selected because of their alignment with Crystal standards regarding service, quality, location, and amenities. Our standard allotments range from threedays pre or three days post cruise in any given port city but there is always the option to extend your stay or upgrade from the standard offering.

Who can I call if I have an emergency or issue during my transfer?

If you experience a medical or serious emergency, please call the local authorities. For non-urgent issues, please contact the local port agent for assistance. Local port agency information is found in the Pre-Cruise or Post-Cruise Information section of your E-Ticket and listed daily in our newsletter Reflections.

What happens if there is a schedule change to my flight?

The local ground operator will monitor scheduled flights and stay informed of any changes. However, if you miss or modify your original flight, please contact your Crystal representative or the local ground operator to provide updated flight details (contact information is available on your E-Ticket).

Who can I call if I cannot locate my driver/transfer?

Contact information for the local ground operator can be found on your E-Ticket under the Transfer Information section.

Location

For an airport pick-up, where do I meet my driver or Crystal representative?

Your driver or Crystal representative will be waiting for you with a branded sign as you exit the main customs and luggage claim area. If your luggage carousel, terminal, or gate has changed, the person may be in the original location. Please call the number provided on the E-Ticket with any changes.

Where will my private transfer pick me up for embarkation?

Private transfers pre-cruise can be arranged from either the airport (flight details required) or a Crystal-partner hotel. Your driver will meet you upon your flight's arrival or at the specified pick-up time at the hotel. For post-cruise transfers, the timing and pick-up arrangements will be based on your preferences and requests.

How do I contact the third-party transportation company?

The contact details for each transfer booked are located on your E-Ticket under Transfer Information. We encourage guests to contact them directly, should you experience a delay or issue within 24 hours of the service date.

Do you use a third party for transfers? If so, what company provides that service?

Yes, we work with trusted local third-party ground operators to provide our transfer services. These experienced partners help ensure reliable and efficient transportation to and from the airport, hotels, and pier, enhancing your travel experience before and after your voyage.

May I pre-purchase transfers for my disembarkation?

Yes, you may purchase transfers for your disembarkation. These transfers are available to take you from the pier to your desired destination, such as the airport or a Crystal-partner hotel, providing a smooth and convenient transition at the conclusion of your voyage.

Who do I contact to book a transfer?

Crystal’s Turnaround Operations department coordinates transfers to and from the airport, Crystal partner hotels, and the pier for both pre- and post-voyage. This can be arranged through your Travel Advisor or Personal Cruise Consultant. For transfers at ports of call, please arrange with the onboard team during your sailing.

Does every destination offer a transfer service?

Crystal is pleased to offer a transfer service in all destinations. We recommend arranging transfers in advance, especially in remote locations.

Am I able to purchase transfers onboard?

Yes, you can purchase transfers onboard during your sailing. All transfers are subject to availability and may be limited. We recommend booking as early as possible to secure your preferred transfer.
