Departing the pier by motor coach, travel inland to Club de Golf de Barcelona. After a welcome drink and a chance to warm up, rally your energy to play this challenging course.

Par-72, 6,858-yard Masia is laid out over a rough, 250-acre property, beautiful with a ravine running down its center and sensational views of the Montserrat Mountains. The ground at your feet, however, demands that you remain focused on your game. Spanish pro golfer Jose Maria Olazabal used a confident and creative hand to design around steep slopes and varying elevations, resulting in a tight and somewhat unforgiving course. Dense vegetation along several fairways require straight hits. Thanks to the hilly topography, the views are not the only thing to take your breath away. Consider booking a scooter to get around, preserving your zeal for lining up your shots and chasing par.

Some of the biggest names in golf have played the Masia course, which has hosted the Spanish Professional Championship in 1991, the Peugeot Tour of Spain 2003 and 2005, and the Catalonia Masters 2007.

A picnic lunch gives you time to relax and chat with fellow players.

Wrapping up an extraordinary day of golf, make your return to your Crystal ship.

Important Note:
Guests must be a minimum of 18 years of age and have a certificate of handicap of at least 34 in order to participate. As the golf course is hilly and physically demanding, it is recommended that senior players and those with physical limitations reserve a golf scooter. Manual trolleys will be provided for each guest. Electric trolleys, golf carts, golf clubs and golf shoes may be available on a first come, first served basis for a fee to be paid directly to the course. It is recommended that guests wear appropriate clothing such as shirts with collar and sleeves, along with slacks or tailored, knee-length shorts and knee-length socks. The wearing of shirts without collars, jeans, jogging suits, bathing suits, tennis shoes and boots is not permitted. In addition to appropriate golf shoes (with rubber spikes, not steel), guests should bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and raingear. This excursion will operate in all weather (unless the course is deemed unplayable by heavy rain). If this excursion is pre-reserved, you will receive a questionnaire approximately 30 days prior to sailing asking you to provide your handicap, desired golf companions and additional details. As tee times are extremely limited and are booked as foursomes, guests and their desired golf companions are requested to book this excursion concurrently so as to maximize the chance of all desired companions obtaining the same tee time. On the day of the excursion, guests who do not request a specific foursome will be grouped with other guests. A minimum number of bookings is required for this excursion to operate. This Crystal Adventures excursion MUST be pre-reserved.
