After your transfer from the tender pier by air-conditioned minivan, arrive at Sand Beach, one of two sandy beaches on Mount Desert Island. Setting out on your hike, follow your guide along an established trail maintained by Acadia National Park. With its stunning views, Gorham Mountain is one of the area’s most popular destinations for hikers. While strenuous, the climb is not technical, making the hike open to all who appreciate an invigorating day in the great outdoors.

You will climb approximately 700 feet in elevation, enjoying the fresh air and inspiring scenery along the way. Breathtaking views at the summit are a fit reward for your efforts.

Admire the panoramas before beginning your descent, soon reaching a level path that traverses approximately one-quarter mile of beautiful Ocean Drive. Here, you will meet your minivan for the return to your Crystal ship.
