Bring your curiosity and sense of adventure to this mountain biking experience along the famous carriage trails of Acadia National Park.Price TBD
DurationApproximately 2½ hours
From the tender pier, transfer by van to the trailhead within the park, where your bike ride will begin. The trails were constructed by John D. Rockefeller, Jr. beginning in 1913. Upset by a ruling allowing automobiles onto Mt. Desert Island, he decided to provide a haven free of motorized traffic. Pedal along the gently rolling, hard-packed gravel carriage trails, passing unsurpassed scenery while learning about the area’s fascinating natural and cultural history. There will also be excellent opportunities to take photographs throughout this excursion.
At the conclusion of the bike ride, return by van to your Crystal ship.
