Depart from your river ship for a relaxing transfer by Crystal motor coach to the town of Pommersfelden. Nestled within its bucolic landscape is the spectacular Weissenstein Castle, where the artistic exuberance of the 18th century is on full display.

Built between 1711 and 1718 as a palatial residence for Lothar Franz von Schönborn, Prince-Bishop of Bamberg and Archbishop of Mainz, it remains today in the hands of the Schönborn family. The stately sandstone exterior of this grand estate only hints at the baroque splendors that lie within -- from a stunning double-armed grand staircase and jaw-dropping ceiling frescoes, to art galleries brimming with important works by European masters, including van Dyck, Rubens and Titian. As part of your guided tour, enjoy exclusive access to the beautifully appointed tack room, an area not open to the general public.

At the conclusion of your castle visit, you'll return by motor coach to your Crystal river ship.
