From your Crystal ship, take the short walk to the ferry terminal, where you will board the ferry for the 45-minute ride to Waiheke Island.
On arrival, you will be met by a local guide, who will accompany you on the 20-minute transfer by minivan to the zipline base. Along the way, admire the picturesque sights of this hilly, 36-square-mile island, including some of its beaches, olive groves, vineyards and multi-million-dollar properties.
Looking forward to your ziplining adventure, reach base and get geared up and briefed. Once fitted with your helmet and harness, marvel at treetop panoramas of Waiheke Island as you fly above a working vineyard and then over a beautiful swath of centuries-old forest.
Each line is about 656 feet long and features state-of-the-art technology, including the New Zealand-designed ZipStop automatic brake. The ziplines will get progressively faster and higher, all in complete safety, ensuring a breathtaking, hand-in-the-air and smile-on-your-face experience.
Once you reach the end of the last zipline, descend from the landing deck and embark on a magical 0.9-mile guided nature walk, exchanging birds-eye views for forest-floor perspectives. Walking along the cool, sun-dappled trails, be enthralled by this native forest, home to a diverse range of fauna and flora. Admire the stately trees, treasures of local lore and legend, and listen as your guide relates the Maori tale of the mother and father of the forest, giving you a new angle on this ancient land of towering trees.
Keeping you fueled for your forest discoveries is a snack pack provided at base.
Wrapping up your trek, transfer to the ferry for the return cruise to the terminal in Auckland. From here, you will proceed by foot to your Crystal ship.
