Departing the pier, cross the Auckland Harbour Bridge, viewing thousands of yachts at the Westhaven Yacht Club as well as enjoying spectacular views of the city. Continue through the Wynyard Quarter and the former America’s Cup Village, where the international yachting syndicates were based in 2000 and 2003 for their America’s Cup challenges. Then, pass Parnell Rose Gardens with its thousands of blooms before proceeding along Tamaki Drive. Pass the sandy beaches of Okahu Bay to Mission Bay, a beautiful drive flanked by the sparkling Waitemata Harbour and tree-lined cliffs. En route, a short stop will be made at the Savage Memorial Park.

Proceed to the Auckland Domain, which consists of nearly 200 acres of parkland in the heart of the city. It encompasses ponds, statuaries, tropical glass houses, various flowers and a great variety of trees. Set within this idyllic retreat is the Auckland Museum, commemorating those of the province who served and died in the two world wars. This impressive museum houses possibly the finest collection of Maori and Polynesian relics and carvings in the world. Join your guide for an hour highlight visit of the Museum. After your visit you will return to your ship.
