Depart from your river ship for a scenic drive by Crystal motor coach to the Kröller-Müller Museum, an impressive art institution situated in the heart of the Hoge Veluwe National Park, one of the Netherlands' most picturesque nature reserves.

An engaging guided tour reveals a unique collection of masterpieces mostly from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries. The museum claims to have the second-largest Van Gogh collection in the world with nearly 90 paintings and over 180 drawings. Also showcased are the works of other modern masters such as Claude Monet, Georges Seurat, Pablo Picasso, Fernand Léger and Piet Mondrian.

The sculpture garden is an interesting highlight of the museum. With over 60 acres of sculpted works, it has become one of Europe's largest displays. The unique collection's sculptures by masters that include Auguste Rodin, Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth, Richard Serra and Jean Dubuffet are sprinkled throughout the garden, sometimes in unexpected places. Encircled by the Hoge Veluwe National Park, it’s a delight to see how the sculptures, garden and park blend so beautifully together.

Enjoy some free time to explore the museum on your own before boarding the motor coach for the ride back to your Crystal river ship.
