Hop aboard your tuk tuk at the pier and begin your freewheeling Amsterdam experience. Seated in the partially covered vehicle, you will be protected from Amsterdam’s sometimes finicky weather and enjoy its perennially popular sights.

Your driver/guide will offer information about the history of Amsterdam and the Dutch people, guiding the tuk tuk past city highlights such as the Central Station and Dam Square with its Nieuwe Kerk, or New Church, dating to the 15th century and now used for exhibitions and organ concerts.

You will also investigate the charming Jordaan quarter. Initially a humble, working-class neighborhood, the Jordaan dates mostly to the 17th century and underwent a renaissance in the 1970s, attracting an eclectic mix of artists, students and young entrepreneurs. Today, the district is an upscale, thriving pocket of activity, full of restaurants, pubs, shops and boutiques housed in tucked-away corners and characteristic houses.

Take advantage of time on your own in Amsterdam’s city center before rejoining your tuk tuk and being whisked back to the pier where your excursion concludes.
