Meet your running guide and companions on the pier to be briefed on your route and receive other details concerning your city jog.

Properly prepped and stretched, begin your run through Amsterdam, following your guide to get a different perspective on the city. Jog past museums such as the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum and take in the charm of the tree-lined canals spanned by arched bridges and graced by gabled merchants’ houses. The unique feel of Amsterdam is all the more delightful as you see colorful boats moored along the narrow waterways, hear the ring-ring of bicycle bells and become a part of the cityscape, with locals carrying parcels of fresh bread and flowers or sitting at sidewalk cafes for coffee and pastries.

The running distance is relatively short yet long on sights, affording encounters with well-known landmarks and unexpected surprises that will make this outing one of your most memorable.

After taking a short break to drink a healthy juice, continue with a walk at Waterlooplein, the flea market selling second-hand clothes, antiques and curiosities. Your jog resumes, taking you along more of the city’s atmospheric avenues and past iconic locales such as the Anne Frank House. Your exact route and jogging pace may vary, depending on access and the fitness level of your group.

Return to the pier invigorated by your approximately one-hour jog and inspired by the spirit and history of Amsterdam.
