A canal boat will be waiting for your one-hour sightseeing cruise in front of the terminal. When you have found your seat, you will be served with a nice cup of coffee and a delicious Dutch pastry.

Some of the 100 canals and 1,000 bridges of Amsterdam will open up to you as your private canal boat quietly passes by beautiful gabled houses, elegant merchant’s mansions and carillon-crowned churches dating to the 16th and 17th centuries.

As your canal boat glides gently across the water, you will view the Anne Frank house, the Westerchurch, the “Golden Bend” and City Hall. Slip silently by the river Amstel with its Skinny Bridge, the Twin Houses and the harbor of Amsterdam.

After your delightful cruise, join your motor coach for a scenic drive through the heart of Amsterdam. Pass by the maritime museum, tropenmuseum and the Jewish Historical Museum and proceed to the museum area for a drive past the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum. Passing the Central Station, return to your Crystal ship.

Important Notes:
The canal boat is not wheelchair accessible; all participants must be able to embark and disembark canal boats that sit low in the water. It is recommended that guests dress in warm, layered clothing and wear flat, comfortable shoes. Guests should bring raingear in case of inclement weather. Although it is not anticipated that you will get wet on this excursion, any electronic devices (such as MP3 players, cell phones, cameras, etc.), as well as any valuable items must be stored in a sealable, waterproof dry bag or left on board the ship. Any damage occurring to these items are the responsibility of the guests. The order of sights visited may vary. A minimum number of bookings is required for this excursion to operate. Pre-reservation of this Crystal Adventures excursion is recommended.
