Living in a land continually threatened by floods and flood disasters, the Dutch have always had a love-hate relationship with water. However, it is thanks to the floods that Holland has such spectacular scenery and on this leisurely four-hour bike tour, you’ll have a chance to soak it all in. You’ll pass cows in their pasture, iconic windmills and the greenest of green fields as far as the eye can see. Starting from the ship, your guide will lead you through charming villages where time stands still, and alongside the banks of the dikes and waterways that gave the Waterland District its name. A break for coffee, cake and some free time is included on this enchanting journey through a land as full of history as it is of water. And all just a few miles from Amsterdam!
