Coast & Villages Panoramic Drive
Discover Andalusia’s captivating coast and quaint, mountain villages during this scenic drive, which includes a stop in the resort town of Aguadulce to enjoy refreshments and marina views.Complimentary
DurationApproximately 3 ½ hours
Begin your panoramic journey at the pier, boarding your motor couch for travels to the coastal city of Aguadulce.
Along the way, venture through mountain villages known as Las Alpujarras, hamlets that retain much of their Moorish influence. One such town is Alboloduy, a jumble of white buildings tucked in a narrow, rocky valley. Stop here to wander along the cobblestone streets, typical of an Andalusian village.
Continuing on, head towards Alhama, gateway to the Alpujarra region and known for its Turkish baths and medicinal waters. As you pass through the town, traverse winding roads and witness impressive views of the mountainous landscape, set against the coast. Make your way to the small pueblo village of Enix, host to characteristic white buildings stacked on the rugged hillside.
From here, the twists and turns of the coastal route take you to the resort city of Aguadulce, so-named for the natural springs of crystal-clear waters. With its hotels, skyscrapers, beach and wide promenade, the city of Aguadulce has a touch of the French Riviera here in Spain.
Stop at the Aguadulce marina for refreshments of beer, wine and or soft drink, served with appetizers.
Your excursion drawing to a close, return to the pier along the coastal road, admiring more scenic vistas along the way.
