Crystal Cruises announced today they have joined Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA), the world's largest cruise industry trade association and the leading authority of the global cruise community, as an ocean-going cruise line member.

“We are honored to join Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) and fully participate in their important work to promote the work of the industry and provide a unified voice across the entire global cruise community,” said Jack Anderson, president of Crystal Cruises. “I would like to thank Chairman Pierfrancesco Vago, President & CEO Kelly Craighead, and the entire CLIA team for their leadership, vision, and extraordinary efforts on behalf of the cruise industry.”

As a member ship organization, CLIA is dedicated to adding and creating value for its members, which is delivered through a range of advocacy efforts, education, and stakeholder engagement on a local, national, and global scale. CLIA and its members are leading the way as a force for good with ambitious goals like pursuing net-zero carbon cruising by 2050 and cruise lines committing to equip their ships to connect to shoreside electricity facilities wherever available at ports - as soon as possible, and no later than 2035. Together with our members and partners, CLIA continues to raise the positive profile of our industry as a leader in responsible travel and maritime practices as demonstrated by our commitment and advancements in environmental sustainability and destination stewardship.

“Cruising has a good story to tell — and will have even more examples and positive stories to share as a result of Crystal Cruises being part of the CLIA membership fleet.”
