Our epic exploration of the Caribbean sets sail from New York City, with a rejuvenating sea day that brings us to Bermuda’s historic Royal Naval Dockyard. Once a key strategic location for the British fleet, it’s now the setting for exciting entertainment venues and great restaurants. Two more days at sea transport us to St. John’s, the bustling capital of Antigua and Barbuda, before we continue to Pointe-à-Pitre in Guadeloupe, for a flavor of its rich Creole culture, followed by Castries in Saint Lucia, which boasts palm-fringed beaches and lively markets. Now to tick off two islands once ruled by the Dutch: admire the pastel-colored architecture of Willemstad in Curaçao and explore the cacti-studded dunes near Oranjestad in Aruba. A day at sea brings Jamaica into view. Here, we visit Port Antonio, beloved by A-listers for its hidden coves, mountainous coastline, and waterfalls, before we set sail for our end destination: Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Quebec City, Canada picture
Just northeast of the UNESCO-designated Vieux-Québec (Old Town), Montmorency Falls Park enchants with striking flows that are one and a half times taller than Niagara Falls. Saguenay (Quebec), Canada

oct 26, 2028

8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Saguenay (Quebec), Canada picture
Whale-watching, in super-close proximity, is an everyday pursuit on Saguenay, the river after which this port and the surrounding region takes its name. North America's only fjord navigable by cruise ship runs 80 miles from the mighty St. Lawrence seaway flanked by 1,000ft cliffs. The port's Musée du Fjord uncovers its story, above and beneath the surface, while local boutiques sell crafts, from First Nation textiles to natural soaps. The surrounding Saguenay Fjord National Park offers almost limitless opportunities for hiking, sea kayaking, boat trips, wildlife watching, and helicopter rides. Fall's fiery foliage displays see an influx of leaf-peeping visitors.

03.

Baie-Comeau, Canada

oct 27, 2028

7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Baie-Comeau, Canada picture
Baie-Comeau's industrial history is intertwined with its identity, as it was founded around a pulp and paper mill. The historic Maison Otis stands as a testament to this heritage. However, the town's beauty extends beyond its past, with the stunning Parc des Pionniers and the peaceful Jardins de l'église offering green oases for relaxation. For the culturally inclined, the Musée de la Nature offers insight into the region's flora and fauna, while the Jardin des Glaciers showcases interactive exhibitions about the Ice Age. Yet, it is probably the stunning and tranquil backdrop of St. Lawrence's picturesque shoreline, dotted with lighthouses, that is the biggest pull to visitors to the region. Here you'll find a diverse canvas that spans history, nature, culture, and adventure. Whether exploring historic sites, engaging in outdoor activities, or savoring culinary delights, it is impossible not be seduced by the magic of this iconic waterway.

04.

Sept-Iles, Canada

oct 28, 2028

7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Sept-Iles, Canada picture
This deep-water dock, North America's largest ore-handling port, is an industrial marvel. But for all its modernity, Mother Nature reigns: birders flock to beach-laced shores where puffins play in the protected waters of the Sept-Iles archipelago, a short boat ride away. But before you step out into the wild, visit the Old Trading Post to learn what life was like for local First Nations and French settlers during the 19th-century fur trade, with costumed guides touring recreated wood cabins. And in the Museum Of The North Shore Region, traditional canoes and a dogsled accompany multimedia exhibits uncovering Sept-Iles' 8,000 years of human habitation.

Port Antonio, Jamaica

Port Antonio, Jamaica picture
Errol Flynn called this place home in the 1950s, Tom Cruise muddled spirits here in the romantic comedy Cocktail in 1988, and Daniel Craig called by in a rare carefree moment as James Bond in No Time To Die in 2021. No wonder. This wild corner of Jamaica is framed by the beautiful Blue Mountains and its golden shores are lapped by the turquoise Caribbean. This is the gateway to the Blue Lagoon, and there are few finer sands than at Frenchman's Cove. And kicking back with a rum punch at Geejam – a hotel with its own recording studio – listening to the house band, the famous Jolly Boys, play their mento melodies, well that's the stuff of serious memories. Beyond the beach, go rafting on the Rio Grande River, hike in the rainforest, take a refreshing dip at Reach Falls, and learn about the Maroons at Moore Town, the fugitive slaves who escaped to form their own settlements in these hills.
