See the Mediterranean in a whole new light as we pair A&K’s acclaimed experts and shore excursions with Crystal Symphony’s award-winning onboard experience. After a pre-cruise stay in the trending hotspot of Valletta, we explore the art and architecture, ancient ruins, natural wonders and incredible food and wine of Tunis, Sardinia, the Costa Blanca, Valencia, Mallorca and beyond.

Step aboard for an extraordinary journey by sea, where every destination is handpicked and every moment carefully curated. Blending the elegance of small-ship cruising with immersive, expert-led exploration, this voyage invites you to discover the world with the distinctive style, comfort, and authenticity that define Abercrombie & Kent.
Despite its modest size, the Mediterranean gem of Malta overflows with temples, forts and palaces. The capital of Valletta offers a vivid journey through time, where every corner reveals grand cathedrals and narrow streets echoing back to the time of the Crusades.

Take in the Caravaggio masterpieces and resplendent marble tombs of St John’s Co-Cathedral, as well as an impressive collection of art and armor at the Grand Master’s Palace. Continue to the former Maltese capital of Mdina, its narrow streets and warmly patinaed houses dating back five millennia. In the village of Rabat, visit The Wignacourt Collegiate Museum, the former residence of the Chaplains of the Knights of Malta. Or, head south to see the Hagar Qim and Mnajdra archaeological sites, Blue Grotto sea caves, Dingli Cliffs and village of Marsaxlokk. Reconvene for a welcome cocktail reception and dinner at the hotel.
Get a parting glimpse of Malta with a tour of the Three Cities and a harbor cruise aboard a traditional wooden boat, a cooking class exploring traditional Maltese fare, or a visit the 16th-century noble residence of Casa Rocca Piccola. Afterward, head to the port, where your vessel awaits.
Bathed in the warm waters of the southern Mediterranean, Tunis blends Maghreb flair with French style. Come ashore to explore the charming village of Sidi Bou Said, renowned for its photogenic whitewashed and blue-trimmed houses. Next, visit Ennejma Ezzahra Palace, an architectural masterpiece mixing Modernist and traditional Maghrebi and Andalusian design influences. Or, delve into the Bardo Museum’s renowned collection of Roman mosaics, the Medina of Tunis’ lively souks and Carthage’s Antonine Baths, Punic harbors and other legendary archaeological treasures. Afterward, relax on your reserved loungers at a local beach.

Though Sardinia glints with some of the most breathtaking shores in the Mediterranean, its culture has been defined by its rustic interior more than its coast: a landscape of mysterious Bronze Age monuments and ancient shepherd tracks that wind through forests of oak and myrtle. Come ashore in Sardinia’s historic port city and capital, Cagliari, where you stroll the Old Town and visit Saint Mary Cathedral. Pair your city tour with a visit to the National Archaeological Museum of Cagliari or a culinary demonstration showcasing local cheeses, pastas and sweets. Alternatively, explore the ancient Roman ruins of Nora and the salt pans of Conti Vecchi, or head to a wine estate renowned for its bold, distinctive turriga reds.

Relax as you cruise westward through the Mediterranean, taking advantage of the ship’s amenities along the way. En route, the Expedition Team sets the stage for tomorrow’s shore excursions with a series of enriching presentations.
A sun-kissed gem of Spain’s southeastern Costa Blanca, Alicante has long been hailed for its beautiful beaches, historic landmarks, vibrant culture and Mediterranean charm. Here, explore the clifftop Santa Bárbara Castle, descend into the labyrinthine lanes of the Old Town and stroll the palm-lined Esplanada de España. Alternatively, visit a family-run artisanal chocolate factory set amid the colorful architecture of nearby Villajoyosa, delve into the modernist architecture and winemaking traditions of Novelda, or head further afield to visit the charming coastal villages of the Guadalest Valley.

Valencia may be a culinary big hitter, but it has plenty to offer besides food: progressive architecture and galleries, hidden plazas and warren-like streets, pretty beaches flooded with sun, lush parks and a ribbon of greenery that winds its way from the city to the sea. Life happens outside, whether gathering on a terrace to share a meal, toe-tapping to an open-air jazz gig, or sipping Agua de Valencia with toes buried in the sand. Wandering around the Barrio del Carmen is a particular joy: its time-worn streets conceal a multitude of hidden tapas joints and wine bars. Explore a Valencian culinary staple as you learn to cook the “real” paella in the wetlands. Beyond gastronomy, explore the Old Town’s Gothic cathedrals and lively, hidden plazas; tour the futuristic City of Arts and Sciences, an architectural masterpiece; or cruise the marshlands and lakes of Albufera Natural Park.

A favorite retreat for travellers seeking sunny beaches, verdant mountains and gourmet cuisine, Mallorca charms visitors with its diverse landscapes and seascapes, clear blue skies and sumptuous culinary pleasures. Explore the island’s historic capital of Palma de Mallorca, seeing the cathedral, Plaza Mayor and Miró Museum. Or, head to the open-air kitchen of a centuries-old country estate to discover the perfect recipes for Mallorcan paella and hierbas, the island’s beloved liqueur infused with wild fennel, rosemary, mint and other aromatics. Alternatively, head southwest to visit a family-run glassworks and the Drach Caves, home to one of Europe’s largest subterranean lakes.
