Clint Van Zandt (Fredericksburg, VA)
Clint Van Zandt was with the FBI for 25 years where he was the FBI's Chief Hostage Negotiator as well as a "profiler" in the FBI's Behavioral Science or "Silence of the Lambs" Unit. Clint has negotiated in numerous national and international kidnap, hostage, and barricade situations, he was acknowledged as the team leader of the analytical team that identified the "Unabomber," he correctly profiled Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh on the day of that fatal bombing, and he personally negotiated with Branch Davidian cult leader David Koresh. He has been profiled in The New Yorker magazine, has made over 3,000 television appearances, and is the author of the new book, Facing down Evil.
Ralf Vargas (Reno, NV)
Colonel (Ret.) Ralf Vargas’ 30-year career with the U.S. Army afforded him unique opportunities to develop his expertise in European Affairs. He spent sixteen years in overseas assignments, culminating in a 3-year assignment to NATO Diplomatic Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium where he shed his uniform and assumed the role of a diplomat. As the Chief of the NATO Situation Center he was responsible for world-wide Crisis Management. Post military life took him to the University of Nevada, Reno, where he taught for five years. He now travels extensively on the geo-political lecture circuit. A popular speaker known for his dynamic enthusiasm, his goal is to simplify the headlines and provide his audience with a basis for following the facts with interest and ease.

Passport To Music presented by Yamaha and Crystal Cruises: Instructor Susan Capestro (Lincoln, MA) teaches an innovative and fun course as an introduction to keyboard playing for adults. Tradition and technology meet in harmony to create this progressive piano-style program. With an emphasis on hands-on learning using Yamaha's exciting portable keyboards supported by the Clavinova digital piano, guests learn nearly a dozen songs during the cruise. An overview of general musical skills, including listening skills and note reading is included, as well as fun group activities such as music trivia and name that song. Passport To Music is designed for those with little or no previous keyboard experience.

Want to take your home movies to the next level? Post your mini-blockbusters or vacation videos to Facebook or YouTube? In five fun classes, learn how to shoot and edit short movies using an iPad. Improve your video and photo skills. The course is taught by professionals, but aimed at non-professionals.
Course requirements: please bring your own iPad and pre-load the iMovie application prior to boarding. If you do not already own the iMovie app for iOS, you must have iOS6 in order to purchase and download iMovie ($4.99) from the App Store. Once you have downloaded the iMovie app to your iPad, be sure to also download the Help files. Open the iMovie app and tap on the Help icon (it looks like a question mark). When the Help screen comes up, tap on "More Help" to download the rest of the Help files. You cannot download the app on board the ship. Due to the hands-on nature of this unique program, class size is limited to 20 participants. Please sign up online using the Priority Check-in & Planning Center (PCPC). If you sign up on board, make sure to sign up EARLY.

Bruce Murray has been a C.P.G.A. member for over 40 years serving the C.P.G.A. as a Director, as well as serving as chairman of many association portfolios. He has been a Head Professional/Director of Golf at five clubs in his career the most prominent being Royal Montréal, Shaughnessy in Vancouver and now Wildfire in Lakefield, Ontario. Bruce's responsibilities have varied within the scope of the various clubs, but teaching has been and remains his main passion. He has taught students of every level, from novices to professionals and leading amateurs. Bruce is now retired from the private club life and lives outside Halifax, Nova Scotia.
