Jay Wolff (Naples, FL)
Dr. Jay Wolff took his undergraduate and doctoral degrees at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. A member of the faculty of Florida Gulf Coast University's Renaissance Academy and elected a member of the British Royal Society of Health, he has published more than a hundred articles on history and culture in professional journals as well as American Heritage, Forbes, American Legacy, The Washington Post and The L.A. Times. He has been a commentator on The History Channel and is an enthusiastically received destination lecturer who brings history to life with stories of the people and events that changed the world.
Bill Rothschild (Houston, TX)
Lt. Col. Bill Rothschild is your proverbial rocket scientist. He has had 44 years of experience working in the aerospace industry, retiring as the Director of Engineering Operations for Boeing’s Space Exploration Division in Houston, TX. Hear Bill's down to earth descriptions and his tantalizing insider stories about the real moon race, what’s happening in space now, and an intriguing gaze into the future for our greatest adventure - the human exploration of space.
Dr. Christopher Whelan (Oxford, England)
Dr. Christopher Whelan received his law degree and PhD from the London School of Economics. He is currently an academic and practicing lawyer in the UK, US, and Germany. In the UK he is associate director of International Law Programs and a member of the faculty of law at the University of Oxford as well as a barrister (specializing in employment law) at Three Paper Buildings in London. In the US, he is professor of law at Washington & Lee University. In Germany, he is a lecturer at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg.
Dr. Whelan has visited and taught at the University of California at Berkeley, the University of Texas at Austin, the University of South Carolina (where he held the Senator Strom Thurmond Distinguished Visitor Chair), the University of Warwick, and the Ohio State University. He was Francis Lewis Scholar-in-Residence at Washington & Lee in 2005.
Dr. Whelan has authored over 60 publications on lawyers' ethics and access to justice, on corporate finance and corporate governance, on employment law, and on the European Union. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

Get your creative juices flowing using a variety of media in classes taught by our specially trained Odyssey Art at Sea instructor Marlene Batoff (Sunny Isles Beach, FL). The relaxing and social aspects of knitting have been added to our Odyssey Art at Sea program on select cruises. Marlene will host knitting classes and all levels are welcome. Participants are encouraged to knit together sharing skills and advice in a congenial environment. Participation is limited.

Improve your video and photo skills. The course is taught by professionals, but aimed at non-professionals.
Course requirements: please bring your own iPad and pre-load the iMovie application prior to boarding. If you do not already own the iMovie app for iOS, you must have iOS6 in order to purchase and download iMovie ($4.99) from the App Store. Once you have downloaded the iMovie app to your iPad, be sure to also download the Help files. Open the iMovie app and tap on the Help icon (it looks like a question mark). When the Help screen comes up, tap on "More Help" to download the rest of the Help files. You cannot download the app on board the ship. Due to the hands-on nature of this unique program, class size is limited to 20 participants. Please sign up online using the Priority Check-in & Planning Center (PCPC). Shannon has worked with many of the top academies in the nation as their premier sports biomechanist and as a keynote speaker on the topic of sports body type for over a decade. Her company, 'BioGolfMechanics' has trained other PGA and LPGA professionals, university athletes, fitness professional, these same techniques. Shannon has appeared with various national television networks as a commentator and sports news authority on golf. She has appeared in golf magazines, radio shows and has authored a recent book on golf.
