Ian MacLachlan (Lethbridge, Canada)
Dr. Ian MacLachlan took his doctoral degree in geography at the University of Toronto. A member of the faculty of the University of Lethbridge, three year-long sabbatical leaves in Mexico City, Edinburgh, and Perth, Western Australia inform his outlook on the world. With research interests that span industrial location, urban planning, and the geography of livestock and meat production, he has published in professional academic journals such as Urban History and Professional Geographer. He uses his geographic perspective to contextualize the fascinating regional features and contrasts that make cruising such an enriching and educational experience.
Roman Pryjomko (Vienna, Austria)
Frequent cruise lecturer, author and technical advisor on development issues, Roman Pryjomko holds degrees from Kingston University, London and the University of Miami. He has undertaken assignments in over 40 countries on topics ranging from the environment, humanitarian assistance, governance reform, violence prevention and poverty reduction. He is the co-founder of St. Gabriel Home, a registered charity that assists imprisoned children in Arusha, Tanzania and in 2004, published a travel memoir, Someone, Somewhere – Encounters with People and Places. An avid traveller, writer and geographer, his talks are thought-provoking and anecdotal; embracing both cultural and physical geography, while highlighting the impacts of terrorism, poverty, climate change and shifting geo-politics on the future of our changing world.

Want to take your home movies to the next level? Post your mini-blockbusters or vacation videos to Facebook or YouTube? In five fun classes, learn how to shoot and edit short movies using an iPad. Improve your video and photo skills. The course is taught by professionals, but aimed at non-professionals.
Course requirements: please bring your own iPad and pre-load the iMovie application prior to boarding. If you do not already own the iMovie app for iOS, you must have iOS6 in order to purchase and download iMovie ($4.99) from the App Store. Once you have downloaded the iMovie app to your iPad, be sure to also download the Help files. Open the iMovie app and tap on the Help icon (it looks like a question mark). When the Help screen comes up, tap on "More Help" to download the rest of the Help files. You cannot download the app on board the ship. Due to the hands-on nature of this unique program, class size is limited to 20 participants. Please sign up online using the Priority Check-in & Planning Center (PCPC). If you sign up on board, make sure to sign up EARLY.

R. Bruce Murray (Deep Cove, Nova Scotia)
Bruce Murray has been a C.P.G.A. member for over 40 years serving the C.P.G.A. as a Director, as well as serving as chairman of many association portfolios. He has been a Head Professional/Director of Golf at five clubs in his career the most prominent being Royal Montréal, Shaughnessy in Vancouver and now Wildfire in Lakefield, Ontario. Bruce's responsibilities have varied within the scope of the various clubs, but teaching has been and remains his main passion. He has taught students of every level, from novices to professionals and leading amateurs. Bruce is now retired from the private club life and lives outside Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Gordon and Kath Markham (Sun Lakes, AZ)
Gordon and Kath Markham are bridge teachers, certified directors and life masters. They especially enjoy teaching beginning bridge students, but also regularly teach Competitive Bidding, Play of the Hand, Defense and 2/1 Game Force. They are world travelers and in addition to cruising they recently toured Iceland, visited Tibet, Bhutan, Nepal and India and relaxed in Tuscany.
