Dan Raviv is an award-winning national correspondent for CBS News and has reported on radio and television from over 35 countries, including a dozen years in the London Bureau. He was on the Berlin Wall as it fell, in Moscow as the Soviet Union collapsed, at the scene of many terrorist attacks including Lockerbie, and in Havana as Fidel Castro welcomed the Baltimore Orioles for an exhibition game. On 9/11, Dan’s clear, calm voice, kept millions of Americans informed and reassured during more than eight hours of non-stop live radio coverage. Dan anchors the major world events for CBS Radio News, including Election Night coverage. He is a respected authority on the Middle East and author of a best-seller, Every Spy a Prince: The Complete History of Israel’s Intelligence Community, as well as his latest Spies Against Armageddon and Friends In Deed: Inside the U.S. - Israel Alliance. Dan also became an expert on entertainment, mergers and movie-making with his book about Marvel’s renaissance after bankruptcy, Comic Wars.
Jeff Roberts (Gosport, England)
Jeff Roberts graduated with a B.Sc. in Geology and Geography from the University of Wales before being commissioned into the Royal Navy. He then gained added qualifications in Meteorology and Oceanography. He served eleven years with the Fleet Air Arm including aircraft carrier operations in the Mediterranean/Indian Ocean/Far East, and then three years with NATO in Naples, Italy. Jeff was selected to retrain in order to present key information on Career Development programs, leading to civilian careers for those of the Royal Navy, Royal Marines and Women's Royal Naval Service (WRENS) reaching the end of their engagements.

Want to take your home movies to the next level and learn how to share them with family and friends? In five entertaining classes, learn how to shoot and edit short movies using an iPad. Improve your video and photo skills. The course is taught by professionals, but aimed at non-professionals.
Course requirements: please bring your own iPad pre-loaded with the iMovie application. If you do not already own the iMovie for iOS app, you must have iOS7 in order to download iMovie from the App Store. If you have an older version of the iMovie app, be sure to update to the current version. You cannot download the app on board the ship. Please sign up online using the Priority Check-in & Planning Center (PCPC). If you sign up on board, make sure to sign up EARLY, in the Library, as the class size is limited.
