Ken Walsh (Bethesda, MD)
Ken Walsh is the chief White House correspondent and author of the "Presidency" column for U.S. News & World Report. He has covered the White House for 'U.S. News' since 1986 and is one of the most experienced and longest-serving journalists ever to cover the presidency. He has reported on and written about five presidents; Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama, and every presidential campaign since 1984. Historian Douglas Brinkley has written of Walsh: "No journalist today covers U.S. presidential politics with the same bedrock self-assurance, analytical thought, and literary aplomb as Ken Walsh."
Walsh has won the most prestigious awards for White House-related journalism. He won the Gerald R. Ford Prize for Distinguished Coverage of the Presidency in 1992, 1998, and 2009, and the Aldo Beckman Award in 1991 and 2007. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame of the Washington Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists in 2009. He is former president of the White House Correspondents' Association. Walsh appears often on national television and radio and gives frequent speeches around the United States, and he teaches as an adjunct in the School of Communication at American University in Washington, D.C.
He is the author of five books, including Family of Freedom: Presidents and African Americans in the White House (2011), From Mount Vernon to Crawford: A History of the Presidents and Their Retreats (2005), and Air Force One: A History of the Presidents and Their Planes (2003).
A New York City native, Walsh received a bachelor's degree in journalism in 1968 from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and a master's in communication in 1970 from American University in Washington, D.C. Just after graduate school, he spent nearly two years as a lieutenant in the U.S. Army.
Larry Herson (Dublin, OH)
Dr. Lawrence Herson is Professor Emeritus and former Dean at The Ohio State University. Educated at Northwestern and Yale, Dr. Herson has an undergraduate degree in Science and three graduate degrees: Asian Philosophy, World Religions (including Islam, Buddhism and Hinduism) and Political Science. His scholarly writings have been published in six languages, including French, Russian and Arabic and honored by the United States government for placement in more than 125 American Libraries worldwide. He has served as election analyst for CBS and PBS and has held professorships and Northwestern and Indiana Universities; has been Distinguished Visiting Lecturer at Baylor and Wisconsin Universities and at Wilton Park (The British Foreign Office Academy). A decorated veteran of World War II, his scholarly honors include Phi Beta Kappa, a German Parliamentary Fellowship, a 50 year listing in Who's Who, and appointment as Mershon Professor of Public Policy at Ohio State.
William Earl "Billy" Casper is an American golfer who was one of the most prolific tournament winners on the PGA Tour from the mid 1950s to the mid 1970s. He was born in San Diego, CA. Between 1964 and 1970 Casper won 27 tournaments on the PGA Tour which was more than legends Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer and Gary Player during that time period according to the World Golf Hall of Fame. He won 51 times in his career, captained the U.S. Ryder Cup team in 1979 and was considered the best putter of his era by many. After his professional career he has been a designer for many golf courses such as The Highlands, The Palm and Eagle Crest in Sun City, Summerlin, NV.

If you do not already own the iMovie app for iOS, you must have iOS6 in order to purchase and download iMovie ($4.99) from the App Store. Once you have downloaded the iMovie app to your iPad, be sure to also download the Help files. Open the iMovie app and tap on the Help icon (it looks like a question mark). When the Help screen comes up, tap on "More Help" to download the rest of the Help files. You cannot download the app on board the ship. Due to the hands-on nature of this unique program, class size is limited to 20 participants. Please sign up online using the Priority Check-in & Planning Center (PCPC). If you sign up on board, make sure to sign up EARLY.

The use of lightweight poles for stability and balance will facilitate your fitness needs even if you have knee or hip issues. Two specially designed adjustable poles work the upper body while walking. Like cross country skiing, the poles are used by the arms to match each step the person takes. Our Fitness Staff will guide you to quickly be deck-walking for fun and fitness. You will be using feather weight aluminum poles provided by the market leader, LEKI®.
