Sir Roger Carrick (Minehead, England)
After National Service in the Royal Navy, Roger joined the Diplomatic Service and served in Sofia, Paris, Singapore, Washington, D.C. and Chicago. His career then took him to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, where he became head of Overseas Estate Development and an Under-Secretary of State. He was appointed British Ambassador to Indonesia in 1990, serving in that role until he was appointed British High Commissioner to Australia in 1994. He retired from public service in 1997.
Ken Walsh (Bethesda, MD)
Ken Walsh is the chief White House correspondent and author of the "Presidency" column for U.S. News & World Report. He has covered the White House for 'U.S. News' since 1986 and is one of the most experienced and longest-serving journalists ever to cover the presidency. He has reported on and written about five presidents; Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama, and every presidential campaign since 1984. Historian Douglas Brinkley has written of Walsh: "No journalist today covers U.S. presidential politics with the same bedrock self-assurance, analytical thought, and literary aplomb as Ken Walsh."
Walsh has won the most prestigious awards for White House-related journalism. He won the Gerald R. Ford Prize for Distinguished Coverage of the Presidency in 1992, 1998, and 2009, and the Aldo Beckman Award in 1991 and 2007. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame of the Washington Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists in 2009. He is former president of the White House Correspondents' Association. Walsh appears often on national television and radio and gives frequent speeches around the United States, and he teaches as an adjunct in the School of Communication at American University in Washington, D.C.
He is the author of five books, including Family of Freedom: Presidents and African Americans in the White House (2011), From Mount Vernon to Crawford: A History of the Presidents and Their Retreats (2005), and Air Force One: A History of the Presidents and Their Planes (2003).
A New York City native, Walsh received a bachelor's degree in journalism in 1968 from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and a master's in communication in 1970 from American University in Washington, D.C. Just after graduate school, he spent nearly two years as a lieutenant in the U.S. Army.
Dr. Lawrence Blair (Bali, Indonesia)
Dr. Blair is the writer, presenter and co-producer (with his late brother) of the internationally acclaimed TV adventure series Ring of Fire, which won two EMMY awards. Its companion book, Ring of Fire, chronicles his and his brother’s astonishing ten years of exploring Indonesia, which included such real life adventures as sailing with gypsy pirates, visiting man-eating animals and men, and standing next to erupting volcanoes. His entire life has been extraordinary; as a diver in Mexico and Indonesia, a fisherman in Alaska, an actor, a model, a photographer and an interpreter. Lawrence Blair earned his doctorate at Lancaster University, England. His thesis, which defined the field of Psycho-Anthropology, was subsequently published as Rhythms of Vision: The Changing Patterns of Belief, now in its sixth edition.
Adrian Vickers (Annadale, Australia)
Dr. Adrian Vickers works at the University of Sydney where he holds a professorial chair in Southeast Asian Studies in the Faculty of Arts and is Director of the Asian Studies Program. Born and raised in a small town in rural New South Wales, Adrian was introduced to the vibrant culture of Indonesia while still at school, first travelling there in the 1970s as a fourteen-year old student. He continued his study of Indonesia at university, graduating with a doctorate before commencing a distinguished academic career which has seen him research and publish on the cultural history of Southeast Asia, as well as that of Indonesia. Recent projects include the development of a virtual museum of Balinese painting, and the history of pearling in the maritime zone between north Australia and eastern Indonesia. Adrian’s books include the highly popular Bali: A Paradise Created (2012), A History of Modern Indonesia (2012) and Balinese Art: Paintings and Drawings of Bali, 1800-2010 (2012). A book on the pearling industry is in press. As well as his academic pursuits, Adrian consults to business and organizations, and is frequently asked by national and international media to comment on Indonesia and Australian-Indonesian relations.
Jay Wolff (Naples, FL)
Dr. Jay Wolff took his undergraduate and doctoral degrees at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. A member of the faculty of Florida Gulf Coast University's Renaissance Academy and elected a member of the British Royal Society of Health, he has published more than a hundred articles on history and culture in professional journals as well as American Heritage, Forbes, American Legacy, The Washington Post and The L.A. Times. He has been a commentator on The History Channel and is an enthusiastically received destination lecturer who brings history to life with stories of the people and events that changed the world.

Warwick David Abadee (Cremorne, Australia)
Warwick Abadee was born and has always lived in Sydney, Australia. He has travelled extensively throughout Australia, Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia largely due to his successful 30 years' high level international maritime career. He achieved Chief Executive and Board status with two of the world's largest shipping conglomerates' Australasian Head Offices; Royal Dutch NEDLLOYD and ZIM Israel Navigation. Following retirement, he joined Sydney's world famous Australian National Maritime Museum in 1991 where he is Senior Historic Guide and its Founding Guest Speaker. Warwick is widely sought for speaking at prominent Museums, Universities, major companies such as Qantas and eminent historic organizations among others. Warwick has lectured on many cruises and has had numerous articles published on his topics.

John Stainton (Brisbane, Australia)
In 1992, John Stainton launched Steve Irwin and The Crocodile Hunter series onto Australian television and the entire planet tuned in. It was a worldwide entertainment phenomenon which set a new benchmark for Australian programs in the international television arena. John Stainton produced hundreds of hours of television programs under 'The Crocodile Hunter' brand, including Croc Files and Croc Diaries, for Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, Travel Channel, NBC and ITV UK - reaching hundreds of millions of viewers across the world. In 2003, John produced and directed 'The Crocodile Hunter' movie, Collision Course for MGM and went on to devise several more 'Croc Hunter' spin offs; New Breed Vets, Ghosts of War, Steve Irwin’s Great Escapes, Ocean’s Deadliest and in 2008/9 Bindi: The Jungle Girl (winning Emmy and Logie Awards). In 2006, John Stainton produced Steve Irwin’s memorial special He Changed Our World, which aired live on all Australian networks as well as around the world. It was the most watched Australian television live event in 10 years since Princess Diana’s funeral and a world acclaimed tribute to an Aussie legend. In 2009, John produced and directed Your Worst Animal Nightmares, a six part docudrama series for Animal Planet USA, Fox8 Australia, TV3 NZ and Discovery Networks Europe, which was acclaimed for it’s realistic and graphic reenactment sequences. In 2011, John was commissioned by Freehand/BBC to direct a pilot for Lonely Planet, Free Rein starring Bryan Brown and Rachel Ward. He is currently in co-production on a major Australian heist movie with award winning writer Chris Nyst based on the 1984 Fine Cotton Affair. John was recently appointed as Adjunct Associate Professor at Queensland University of Technology.

Richard Dutkowski is a Fellow of the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP) and the Master Photographers Association (MPA). He has been a successful professional photographer in the UK for over 20 years during which time his artistry has won him many prestigious awards and the title “UK Master Photographer of the Year.” He is also a Past President of the Master Photographers Association. Richard is a recognized leader in the medium of black and white photography. Portraiture has always been a passion and Richard treats each of his commissions as an opportunity to create unique portraits. Bruce Murray has been a C.P.G.A. member for over 40 years serving the C.P.G.A. as a Director, as well as serving as chairman of many association portfolios. He has been a Head Professional/Director of Golf at five clubs in his career the most prominent being Royal Montréal, Shaughnessy in Vancouver and now Wildfire in Lakefield, Ontario. Bruce's responsibilities have varied within the scope of the various clubs, but teaching has been and remains his main passion. He has taught students of every level, from novices to professionals and leading amateurs. Bruce is now retired from the private club life and lives outside Halifax, Nova Scotia.
