Bill Boggs (New York, NY)
Bill Boggs, the celebrity correspondent for the syndicated My Generation, television show, is a four-time Emmy award-winning TV host and interviewer, an entertainment industry insider and a major figure in the music, lifestyle, food, and celebrity reporting arenas. His career has spanned more than twenty-five years on TV. He is the bestselling author of the Harper Collins book, Got What It Takes?, a sought-after motivational speaker, and the creator and star of the off Broadway play, Talk Show Confidential, which has been running at New York’s Triad Theater since 2003. As host of the long-running food network series, Bill Boggs’ Corner Table, the New York based Midday Live With Bill Boggs, NBC’s Weekend Today in New York, and the Fox series Comedy Tonight, Bill has interviewed many of the most notable personalities of our time - including music-world giants, presidents, international leaders, writers, athletes, celebrity chefs, not to mention a movie star or two.

Kaspar Villiger (Switzerland)
Kaspar Villiger is one of the world's most respected authorities on the intersection of business, government and finance and an international giant whose sound decision-making has impacted global economies. Villiger is a two-time President of the Swiss Confederation, first in 1995 and again in 2002. He was elected Federal Councilor in 1989, serving until 2003, where he was Minister of Finance (1996 to 2003) as well as the Minister of Defense (1989 to 1995). Villiger has amassed more than 40 years of experience in business, banking, and the federal government, beginning his political career in 1972 as a member of Swiss Liberal, the Free Democratic Party in Canton Lucerne. He served in Swiss federal parliament from 1982 to 1989, and before that in the parliament of the Canton of Lucerne. For more than 23 years he was co-owner of Villiger Group, where he managed the parent firm, Villiger Soehne AG, a Swiss tobacco company.

After his political career, he joined the board of directors of Nestle and Swiss Re. In 2009, he was elected Chairman of the Board of UBS, one of the world's largest private banks, a post that he held until March 2012. He has also served as vice-president of the Chamber of Commerce of Central Switzerland and vice-president of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of the Canton of Aargau. Currently, he is a member of the Global Leadership Foundation and Chairman of the Foundation Council at the USB International Center for Economics in Society. Villiger equips organizations with the change-making insights and knowledge they need to understand an increasingly complex and interdependent global economy, while expertly surveying and putting into context the most pressing economic topics of the day.

Larry Herson (Dublin, OH)
Dr. Lawrence Herson is Professor Emeritus and former Dean at The Ohio State University.  Educated at Northwestern and Yale, Dr. Herson has an undergraduate degree in Science and three graduate degrees: Asian Philosophy, World Religions (including Islam, Buddhism and Hinduism) and Political Science. His scholarly writings have been published in six languages, including French, Russian and Arabic and honored by the United States government for placement in more than 125 American Libraries worldwide.  He has served as election analyst for CBS and PBS and has held professorships and Northwestern and Indiana Universities; has been Distinguished Visiting Lecturer at Baylor and Wisconsin Universities and at Wilton Park (The British Foreign Office Academy). A decorated veteran of World War II, his scholarly honors include Phi Beta Kappa, a German Parliamentary Fellowship, a 50 year listing in Who's Who, and appointment as Mershon Professor of Public Policy at Ohio State.

Donald J. Behnke (Tucson, AZ)
Dr. Donald J. Behnke is Music Critic of the Green Valley News and Sun in Arizona. He is Program Annotator for the Symphony and is the winner of the Arizona Press Club’s First Place Award for Arts Criticism in 2011. Dr. Behnke has been a life-long student and patron of the arts, having begun piano and voice studies at age five. His doctor’s degree is from Columbia University. He is Superintendent Emeritus of the Southampton, NY public schools and has traveled extensively in Europe, the Far East, Latin America and South East Asia.

General Nick Halley is a recognized expert on leadership, terrorism, change management and integrity. His leadership expertise was learned and developed under the most stressful conditions - combat. His impressive background as a senior leader in the military, government and corporate worlds include: an Engineering Degree from West Point, Nuclear Physics Masters Degree from the University Of Virginia, Commander of soldiers in three conflicts-Vietnam, Grenada and Desert Storm (Iraq).

Owen Ullmann (Bethesda, MD)
Mr. Ullmann is an award-winning journalist and author who has covered the White House, Foreign Affairs, Economics and Political Campaigns for more than three decades. He currently is Editor of the print edition of USA TODAY, the top-selling print newspaper in the United States. He has reported from all 50 states and five dozen countries, and has interviewed five U.S. presidents, numerous foreign leaders and other major political and economic decision-makers. Washingtonian magazine has rated him among the "50 most influential journalists" and the White House Correspondents Association has twice honored him for his reporting. The New York Times included his 1986 biography of former White House Budget Czar David Stockman on its recommended non-fiction list. He is the rare Washington journalist who moves easily in both the worlds of presidential politics and global economics.

Get your creative juices flowing using a variety of media in classes taught by our specially trained Odyssey Art at Sea instructor Carole Reeve Newson (Toronto, CA).  The relaxing and social aspects of knitting have been added to our Odyssey Art at Sea program on select cruises. Dorothy Calio (Oxford, CT) will host knitting classes and all levels are welcome. Participants are encouraged to knit together sharing skills and advice in a congenial environment. Participation is limited.

Want to take your home movies to the next level? Post your mini-blockbusters or vacation videos to Facebook or YouTube? In five fun classes, learn how to shoot and edit short movies using an iPad. Improve your video and photo skills. The course is taught by professionals, but aimed at non-professionals.
Course requirements: please bring your own iPad and pre-load the iMovie application prior to boarding. If you do not already own the iMovie app for iOS, you must have iOS6 in order to purchase and download iMovie ($4.99) from the App Store. Once you have downloaded the iMovie app to your iPad, be sure to also download the Help files. Open the iMovie app and tap on the Help icon (it looks like a question mark). When the Help screen comes up, tap on "More Help" to download the rest of the Help files. You cannot download the app on board the ship. Due to the hands-on nature of this unique program, class size is limited to 20 participants. Please sign up online using the Priority Check-in & Planning Center (PCPC). If you sign up on board, make sure to sign up EARLY.

Crystal Cruises is the only cruise line to offer a Nordic Walking program to help you get more out of your limited exercise time on board. The use of lightweight poles for stability and balance will facilitate your fitness needs even if you have knee or hip issues. Two specially designed adjustable poles work the upper body while walking. Like cross country skiing, the poles are used by the arms to match each step the person takes. Our Fitness Staff will guide you to quickly be deck-walking for fun and fitness. You will be using feather weight aluminum poles provided by the market leader, LEKI®.
