Joseph Snyder (Kensington, MD)
As a diplomat with the US Department of State’s Foreign Service for thirty years, Joe Snyder served at embassies in Thailand, Iran, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Austria, as well as in Washington. Among his government positions was Director of the State Department Press Office and Spokesman, when he often delivered a televised daily briefing with reporters, and Deputy U.S. Ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna, where he directed work on nuclear issues in North Korea, Iran, and Iraq.
Ambassador Edward Peck (Chevy Chase, MD)
An international television commentator, teacher and lecturer, Ed Peck served as Chief of Mission in Iraq; Deputy Director, Cabinet Task Force on Terrorism at the Reagan White House; Deputy Coordinator, Covert Intelligence Programs at the State Department; and Executive Secretary of the American Academy of Diplomacy. A former paratrooper, he speaks Arabic, French, Spanish and Swedish.

The relaxing and social aspects of knitting have been added on select cruises. On this sailing, Leola Bonham (Largo, FL) will host knitting classes and all levels are welcome. Participants are encouraged to knit together sharing skills and advice in a congenial environment. Participation is limited.

Want to take your home movies to the next level and learn how to share them with family and friends? In five entertaining classes, learn how to shoot and edit short movies using an iPad. Improve your video and photo skills. The course is taught by professionals, but aimed at non-professionals.
Course requirements: please bring your own iPad pre-loaded with the iMovie application. If you do not already own the iMovie for iOS app, you must have iOS8 in order to download iMovie from the App Store. If you have an older version of the iMovie app, be sure to update to the current version. You cannot download the app on board the ship. Please sign up online using the Priority Check-in & Planning Center (PCPC). If you sign up on board, make sure to sign up EARLY, in the Library, as the class size is limited.

R. Bruce Murray (Deep Cove, Nova Scotia)
Bruce Murray has been a C.P.G.A. member for over 40 years serving the C.P.G.A. as a Director, as well as serving as chairman of many association portfolios. He has been a Head Professional/Director of Golf at five clubs in his career the most prominent being Royal Montréal, Shaughnessy in Vancouver and now Wildfire in Lakefield, Ontario. Bruce's responsibilities have varied within the scope of the various clubs, but teaching has been and remains his main passion. He has taught students of every level, from novices to professionals and leading amateurs. Bruce is now retired from the private club life and lives outside Halifax, Nova Scotia.
