General:

Where exactly is the Northwest Passage?  

The Northwest Passage is a historical sea passage of the North American continent.  It is a series of waterways north of the Arctic Circle that link the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, from Greenland through the Canadian Arctic Archipelago and onwards into the Beaufort Sea, originally explored as a shorter trade route between Europe and Asia. 

In August/September 2016, Crystal Cruises was the first luxury cruise line to traverse the Northwest Passage with a group of more than 1000 guests aboard – the largest group of travelers to traverse the passage.

    • Expedition-style cruising – Crystal’s Northwest Passage is a unique opportunity for guest to experience expedition style cruising in the comfort of a luxury cruise. The voyage is a chance for guest to immersed themselves in the local culture, encounter and observe wildlife, and explore one of the most remote destination in the world through on shore adventures and engaging onboard programming from experts of the Arctic region. The 2017 voyage, is especially unique as it will be the last chance for guest to sail the route on one of Crystal’s classic ocean ships.

     

    • Significant onboard expedition team – Crystal Serenity will partner with Canada’s expert expedition team, Arctic Kingdom, on both enrichment on board and guidance on shore, with numerous lectures, seminars and workshops during the transit. Additional guides and regional specialists will be sailing aboard the support vessel and will be available to guests during landings.

     

    • Crystal Wilderness Adventures and unique, immersive Crystal Adventure Shore Excursions -- Crystal is preparing a wide selection of Crystal Adventure Shore Excursions to immerse guests in the Arctic region and offer once-in-a-lifetime experiences.  Under the approval of the local communities, we will be visiting remote areas with limited facilities, a limited infrastructure, and without established docks.  On some “Crystal Wilderness Adventures,” (a new type of Crystal Adventure created just for this voyage), guests will disembark directly onto the vast Arctic wilderness using Zodiacs.

     

    • Escort vessel accompaniment with “Expedition Gear & Equipment” – An escort vessel with ice breaking capabilities will accompany Crystal Serenity throughout the transit and will provide storage for our zodiacs, kayaks and rib boat as well as two squirrel helicopters. The zodiac, kayak and rib boat will pick guests up from Crystal Serenity through the deck 4. There has been a special platform that has been purpose built to provide the safe and hassle-free loading and offloading of guests

     

    • Flexible itinerary schedule for serendipitous exploration -- To maximize the myriad of possibilities on the expedition, there will be far more itinerary flexibility.  Scheduled port calls and day-to-day activities will be dependent on weather and wildlife opportunities.  During the passage, several ‘expedition days’ will be determined and finalized 24 hours or less in advance based on current conditions.     • Exceptional planning and collaboration with top experts and authorities is a must to ensure the safety of our guests and crew, as well as the best possible guest experience.   For the first Northwest Passage voyage, Crystal management began carefully planning the idea of a transit in January 2013, and continued to do so up to the time of our departure in August 2016.  Our advance planning, training and safety preparation resulted in a very successful first voyage, becoming the first luxury cruise line to traverse the Northwest Passage.

    • Crystal has reviewed the 2016 passage and will incorporate the lessons learned from that voyage into the continuation of the planning process for the 2017 voyage to make it an even more rewarding experience and to update all contingency plans.  To that end we continue to work closely with the United States and Canadian Coast Guards, Transport Canada, and myriad of federal, state, provincial, territorial and local government agencies.
    • There are no medical or physical requirements for joining this voyage.  We urge guests to carefully select Crystal Adventure Shore Excursions or Wilderness Adventures based on one’s fitness level, as in some cases we will be going ashore in small, inflatable boats and landing directly onto the shore without any docks.  For Zodiac access, guests must be able to walk up and down stairs and negotiate challenging gangways and gangplanks.

     

    • No vaccinations are required.

     

    • As facilities in the Northwest Passage communities are limited, shuttle busses or similar forms of transportation will be either non-existent or very limited.

     

    • Most sightseeing on land is on foot. Expect uneven terrain and some slippery, rocky slopes. There are rarely warning signs or barriers to alert travelers to dangers when visiting wilderness areas. Additionally, high winds and icy conditions can exacerbate the difficulty of visiting these areas

     

    • Travel to these regions is not suitable for people who require frequent or on-going medical attention.  Guests in wheelchairs, or those with any conditions that demand special attention while traveling, are required to travel with a companion, even when occupying handicap accessible staterooms.  Crystal crew and fellow guests are not able to provide care for guests with medical conditions, except under emergency circumstances.  Additionally, certain landings and activities may be restricted for certain guests due to landing conditions and guest ability. This will be at the sole discretion of the Captain to ensure passenger safety. 

     

    • Crystal Cruises reserves the right to refuse passage to anyone who fails to advise us of a physical disability or is deemed unfit for travel.  Please ensure that we are aware of any physical disability or frequent or on-going medical requirements prior to the cruise.
    • Due to the remote locations, emergency medical evacuation by plane from the Arctic regions can reach costs of $50,000 or more.  Therefore, proof of a minimum of $50,000 per person in Emergency Evacuation Repatriation insurance is required to participate in this cruise.

     

    • Guests who do not purchase Crystal’s Guest Protection Program must provide proof of adequate emergency medical evacuation coverage details to Crystal at least 90 days prior to the cruise departure date.  Please include carrier name, policy number, emergency contact number and limits of coverage.   This information must be emailed to NorthwestPassage@crystalcruises.com, or mailed to Documentation, Crystal Cruises, 11755 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 900, Los Angeles, CA, 90025.

     

    • Trip insurance is not required, but strongly encouraged.   
    • Crystal Serenity’s Internet and telephone services will be available for the majority of the expedition.  However, there may be a few days in the northern-most section of the itinerary where the signal is either slowed considerably or not available at all.

     

    • There will not be shore-based cell phone signals along the transit, except in the communities and towns we will be visiting.  However, guests are requested to not use this signal when in port, as it may overwhelm the local system and disrupt the communication within the community.

     

    • While communication channels may be temporarily limited or unavailable to guests, the ship’s Captain and crew will always have operational and emergency communication throughout the entire voyage.

     

    • We will provide guests with direct phone numbers to Crystal Serenity, which they may give to loved ones at home to enable them to contact a guest in case of emergency.
    • In general, for a range of temperatures, we recommend packing clothes that you can layer when in cold conditions on deck and ashore. Next to the skin a moisture-wicking under layer, such as synthetic, silk or merino wool underwear are preferable to cotton. Warm sweaters or fleece insulation layers should be worn above this along with a pair of warm hiking-type trousers. Windproof, waterproof clothing (including waterproof pants) and shoes are key, as weather may change rapidly. In colder destinations, it’s important not to overdress to the point of perspiration since wet skin will chill you further.  If you wear several light- to medium-weight layers under a parka, you can better adjust your personal temperature. Don’t forget hat, gloves and thick socks.

    • A link to an outfitter company called “Ship to Shore” that have specially prepared a collection of clothes suitable for the expedition. Outfitter Gear for your NWP journey can be purchased through Crystal’s website through a link to “Ship to Shore” which has a dedicated team to assist you with recommended clothing for this voyage. Arrangements will be made to have your purchases sent to the ship.

    • Onboard evening attire will be significantly relaxed, due to the nature of the voyage.  There will be two black tie optional evenings – one at the beginning of the cruise and one at the end of the cruise. Other evening dress code recommendations will be determined and advised prior to the voyage.

Guest Experience

    • On board Crystal Serenity, the experts from Arctic Kingdom, expedition team, will offer enrichment throughout the passage.  These experts will lecture on a variety of topics -- from the history of the Northwest Passage and wildlife (including polar bears, birds and marine mammals of the area) to modern Inuit culture.  In addition, they will conduct seminars and workshops and be active participants in the voyage, giving all guests an opportunity to interact with them directly.

     

    • Prominent luminaries in exploration, science, and/or politics will also join parts of the expedition, giving additional insights to the enrichment program.

     

    • Accomplished wildlife and landscape photographers will also be on board, offering lectures and tips for all guests.  For additional fees, guests can join specialized hands-on photo workshops and seminars and photography-focused Crystal Adventure Shore Excursions.

     

    • A local Arctic guide will also be on board to guide the Expedition Leader and onboard management team on Inuit traditions, and to provide guest lectures with insight into the Inuit community.
    • As with other sea cruises, there will be a mix of several days at sea with scheduled port calls when guests can disembark.

     

    • The itinerary has been designed to be flexible to take maximum advantage of weather and ice conditions and allow for possible delays due to ice concentration.  This flexibility also allows for opportunistic wildlife spotting and viewing.  There may be several “unexpected adventures” mid-Northwest Passage where the Captain will plan the itinerary based on current conditions, often with 24 hours or less advance notice.

     

    • During these “expedition days,” there may be opportunities to disembark Crystal Serenity on a Crystal ”Unexpected” Adventures, such as a hike across the tundra with an expedition guide, a kayak in protected bays, a helicopter ride, a guided Zodiac cruise or other possibilities.

     

    • Continuously throughout the transit, the expedition team will scan the shore and the seas for wildlife, and, where possible, and the expedition team will keep a sharp lookout throughout the transit and notify all via the public address system (available on in-room television as well) when anything of note is spotted for guest viewing and photo opportunities. We will also provide an “App” that will be available to notify guests between the hours of 6 pm-6 am.
    • The Arctic in the summer is not as cold as might be expected.  During the day, temperatures can be pleasant and sunny.  Highs in Cambridge Bay, Canada (the midpoint of the cruise) in late August average 48F/9C, and, in early September in Pond Inlet, (most northerly settlement to be visited), approximately 40F/4C. During the evening, the sea keeps temperatures from dropping precipitously, with temperatures reaching an average low of 34F/1C in Cambridge Bay and 28F/-2C in Pond Inlet.

     

    • Generally, the Northwest Passage is sheltered from large ocean swells.  While it is possible that high winds or storms could cause the ship to pitch or roll on occasion, in general, based on our experience in 2016 the transit itself is expected to be calm.
    • In order to go ashore at small communities without port facilities and during Crystal Wilderness Adventures zodiacs will transport participating guests to a landing designated landing spot. The zodiacs are able to come up on the shore in what is commonly known as a “wet landing”. Crystal staff will be available to assist guests out of the zodiacs in an orderly and safe fashion. There will be a safety briefing that all guest must attend prior to being allowed to go ashore.   Guests may be ask to step into shallow water in order to step ashore. 

     

    • Crystal Serenity’s has purchased new state-of-the-art MK-5 and MK-6 zodiacs with capacities of 10 & 14 guests respectfully. The zodiacs are sturdy, and exceptionally safe, inflatable rubber vessels that are widely used throughout the world in both polar and tropical passenger and scientific expeditions.  We will have a team of expert Expedition guides that are trained and certified to operate the zodiacs.

    • Seabirds and marine mammals such may be seen throughout the Northwest Passage voyage and Crystal Serenity provides an excellent vantage point to keep watch for wildlife ahead. In Alaska at the start of our voyage we may well see humpback whales, while beluga, narwhal or bowhead whales are some of the rare species we may encounter further north if we are fortunate. We may spot seals or walrus hauled out on ice as we cruise with the ship or explore in the Zodiacs. Ashore, we will encounter a variety of bird life, and may see land mammals such as Arctic Hare, Arctic Fox or Musk-ox.

     

    • We will be installing a special long-range gyro camera that was designed by the military for spy plans. This camera is known as Cineflex. The Cineflex camera will be affixed to the ship’s mast at approximately 13-feet high for maximum viewing of surrounding landscape and wildlife. This special gyro cam has the ability to capture high resolution quality images for distant wildlife sightings for all to enjoy.  The Cineflex operator will be positioned in Palm Court and will be continuously on the lookout for breathtaking sights which will appear on two 65 inch screens located in Palm Court for easy viewing while relaxing. The images will also be fed into the staterooms of the guests through our TV system.  In addition, Crystal Serenity will provide premium optics for better hand-held viewing. Professional handheld binoculars will be provided to all guests for wildlife viewing from their verandas or from the open decks. We will also have additional binoculars on Tripods that will be strategically position in some public areas for guest’s use.

     

    • In general, wildlife along the Northwest Passage is unpredictable and often difficult to spot.  Fortunately, our expedition team will positioned on the bridge and will keep a sharp lookout throughout the transit. Guests will be notified of wildlife sightings via the public address system (available on in-room television as well) or from your Crystal App which can be downloaded onto your iPhone or Android device.  

     

    • While polar bears thrive in this region, there is no guarantee that any will be seen on the transit or if they are seen that the ship will be able to approach. There are strict guidelines for wildlife sightings which Crystal will follow. We will be able to get close enough to afford a good view or for photograph opportunities. Be assured, if an opportunity exists for viewing, and conditions allow, we will notify all via the public address system or your Crystal App.


     
  • Crystal will be offering six different types of Crystal Adventures on this expedition:

    1. Community visits (these will be offered complimentary to all guests but still require guest pre-reserve)
    2. Crystal Wilderness Adventures
    3. Crystal Unexpected Adventures
    4. Crystal Boutique Adventures
    5. You Care, We Care Voluntourism Adventures
    6. Crystal Overland Adventures

    • Community visits:  This option will be complimentary and will be available for guests who would like to go ashore to explore independently.  Community visits will only be scheduled in the Canadian port calls listed on the Northwest Passage itinerary, however, this may be restricted to specific areas due to wildlife and/or other factors which may be deemed unsafe for guests. While all guests will have the opportunity to proceed ashore and explore these communities on their own, due to the limited infrastructure, we will need to stagger the timings of guests' visits ashore and limit the total number of guests ashore at any one time.  This is to prevent over-crowding in the ports and ensure the best possible shoreside experience for all guests.

    • Crystal Wilderness Adventures: During several days in the Northwest Passage, Crystal Serenity will be making scheduled, calls. There will be a full variety of Crystal Adventures offered in these ports which can be pre-reserved in advance.  

    • Crystal Unexpected Adventures: Crystal Unexpected Adventures will allow guests on the Northwest Passage sailing to experience unchartered areas along cruising route as opportunities present themselves. Unexpected Adventures will present rare opportunities for guests to explore up close and personal the wonders of the Northwest Territories and surrounding areas. Examples will include hiking with a naturalist on the tundra, kayaking, zodiac cruises led by an expedition staff member and/or other experiences.  These varied programs will be dependent on weather and the ability to safely land guests ashore.  They will only be available for purchase on board and we will take waitlists for those who wish to participate.  We will contact guests on the waitlist sometimes as close as 24-hours in advance to give them an opportunity to book the excursions offered.

    • Crystal Boutique Adventures: Crystal will be arranging a limited number of over-the-top-experiences which will have extremely limited participation, such as a helicopter tour of remote areas.  These programs will also be dependent on weather and the ability to safely land guests ashore. Guests will need to pre-reserve these tours in advance.

    • Crystal’s “You Care. We Care.” complimentary voluntourism programs will be available, in which guests and crew can volunteer their time in ports to help the local communities and generate a lasting, meaningful benefit from their visit.

    • Overland Adventures and/or pre/post Extended Land Programs:  Crystal is planning pre/post land programs and exciting Crystal Overland Adventures that will allow guests to explore beyond the ship and ports.  Potential Overland Adventures options might include a two-night trip to see the Caribou migration, overnights in remote fishing lodges, or an overnight on the Greenland ice-cap.

    • All Crystal Adventure Shore Excursions for the Northwest Passage expedition will be available for pre-reservations through our website www.crystalcruises.com 6-months in advance (180-days out)

        
    • As part of our “You Care, We Care” Crystal Voluntourism Adventures, all guests will be able to enjoy the small communities via complimentary “community visits” during calls in Nome, Alaska; Ulukhaktok, Cambridge Bay, Pond Inlet, Canada.  They will have the opportunity to firsthand experience modern life in the Arctic, including daily chores indigenous to this part of the world, as well as the rich cultural heritage of the region. 

     

    • Lectures and seminars provided by the expedition team are included in the cruise fare and allow guests to learn more about the culture, history and wildlife of the region.
    • Yes, weather permitting, the helicopters on board the escort will be utilized for sightseeing flights and for Ice Reconnaissance. Crystal Unexpected Adventures, will also feature helicopters where and when possible to offer a spontaneous thrill-seeking adventure if the opportunity presents itself. We are also offer helicopter tours through our local tour partners in select communities such as Nome and Ilulissat.
    • The Inuit communities Crystal Serenity will be visiting in the Canadian Arctic are small and remote, with limited facilities and very few inhabitants (500- 1600 people), so are unable offer the type of sightseeing attractions or the infrastructure expected on a more conventional cruise.  Instead, guests will see daily life in these remote communities first-hand.  Local community centers will be open, with cultural performances and demonstrations such as throat singing or traditional dress displays throughout the day. There will also be opportunities to visit a few small museums and the local co-op in each town, along with the chance to shop for traditional Inuit art.

     

    • Crystal is also working with local operators to develop additional optional Crystal Adventure Shore Excursions to sites outside of the communities.  Possibilities range from a round at the northernmost nine-hole golf course (Billy Joss Golf Club in Ulukhaktok) to spending a night on the Greenland Ice Cap.

Planning / Logisitcs

    • Further raising the bar, Crystal was fortunate to enlist the guidance and help of the Canada-based, Arctic Kingdom team that includes world-class expedition leaders, backcountry guides, marine biologists, archaeologists, expert divers, conservationists, photographers, and wildlife experts; all who have many years of experience in operating many safe and environmentally responsible ship expeditions in both the Arctic, including numerous voyages through the Northwest Passage. The Arctic Kingdom team will accompany us on the voyage, providing assistance on the bridge, escort vessel and their valuable insight to ensure the safest possible traverse of the region.

     

    • Just as with the first voyage, Crystal has continued to collaborate with United States and Canadian Coast Guards, Transport Canada, and myriad of federal, state, provincial, territorial and local government agencies, in planning, to ensure the safety of our guest and the best possible experience for not only our guests, but the regions and communities that will welcome our ship.
    • No.It is our intent to leave nothing behind and to that end the escort vessel will carry a fleet of zodiacs which allow us to land at small settlements without port facilities.

Safety

  • Crystal has been working on this project for approximately three years and will be implementing a number of additional precautions to ensure the safety of all guests and crew, as well as to protect the pristine environment.  Some, but not all, additional precautions are listed below:

    • A full expedition team, experienced in the Northwest Passage, will be on board to advise and work with the Captain and onboard management on the transit.

     

    • Additional officers will join the Bridge Team for the voyage, and the Captain and team members will receive training at a bridge simulator in St John’s Newfoundland that is specifically configured to simulate navigating the far northern regions.

     

    • Two veteran Canadian Ice pilots with several decades of experience each in the Northwest Passage will also be on board to complement the Captain and Bridge Team. (Other commercial vessels normally operate with only one pilot; having two ensures there is a qualified ice pilot on the bridge 24 hours a day.)

     

    • Two ice searchlights, forward looking sonar and thermal imaging equipment were installed for the 2016 voyage to allow the vessel to scan the waters ahead both above and below the surface for ice and uncharted rocks.  Additional equipment installed at that time includes the technology to process the ship’s radar data in a way that will maximize the ability for it to pick up smaller size bits of ice and project this image on the ship’s navigational display.  The ship will also receive near real time satellite transmissions from Canadian Ice Services so the Captain and Bridge Team can have knowledge of the most up to date ice conditions at their fingertips. Very few commercial vessels have all of this technology, and it will help ensure Crystal Serenity has the most advanced technology available to avoid unexpected ice or underwater obstacles.

     

    • On our expedition, an escort vessel, (the RRS Ernest Shackleton), with an experienced team will travel with Crystal Serenity  The ice pilot on board the Shackleton is a veteran Canadian Coast Guard officer having served as Captain of Canada’s largest Polar Icebreaker

     

    • Two helicopters planned to be carried on board the escort vessel to allow for real time ice condition reconnaissance.

     

    • In addition to the oil pollution mitigation gear that Crystal Serenity always has on board, the ship will carry additional response and damage control equipment on the escort vessel.

     

    • A team of divers able to assist with emergency response will be part of the expedition team, and a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) will be carried for underwater inspections.

    • Crystal Cruises has safely operated its ships routinely in remote areas, including long trans-oceanic voyages for over 25 years, and, in fact, the Northwest Passage is not as remote as one might expect.  During the transit, Crystal Serenity will be passing many communities, including ones where commercial jets provide regularly scheduled air service.  However the single distinguishing feature of this voyage is the constant presence of the escort vessel.

     

    • To administer and patrol the area, the Canadian Coast Guest also positions a fleet of vessels in the   Northwest Passage every season.  This is unlike in Antarctica, where no single nation patrols or is responsible for the waterways.
    • Crystal Serenity plans to transit during the period of when ice concentration is minimal. The typical conditions along the planned route during the Arctic summer are mainly free of ice.  Anticipated ice conditions are within safe operating parameters for Crystal Serenity.

     

    • In addition, an escort vessel will accompany Crystal Serenity.  The escort vessel will have ice breaking capabilities and would be able to assist in the extremely unlikely event that the ice concentration becomes a challenge for Crystal Serenity.  Further, we will be working very closely with the Canadian Ice Services to monitor ice conditions to ensure they remain safe for transit.

     

    • Though guests will see ice, the ship will not be sailing directly through ice.  Crystal Serenity is a 1-D ice-classed vessel, and she is capable of operating safely in the Northwest Passage in the very light ice conditions during the summer period which the transit will be undertaken.  The ship has operated in areas of ice before—such as in Alaska and in Antarctica--and if there is excessive ice, the ship will wait until the ice clears and there is open water before continuing with the transit.
    • Crystal Serenity will be escorted through the Northwest Passage by polar research and subsea support vessel, RRS Ernest Shackleton, named for the famous polar explorer.

     

    • The escort vessel will have ice breaking capabilities and would be able to assist in the extremely unlikely event that the ice concentration becomes a challenge for Crystal Serenity.

     

    • The Shackleton will serve as an escort vessel to assist in ice breaking and carrying additional equipment. It will carry extra crew and expedition team members along with helicopters, Zodiacs, kayaks, extra fuel, oil spill gear, and emergency supplies of water and rations.
    • Polar bears usually do not enter the towns and communities where guests will be going ashore, and there are ample houses, buildings and shelters in these communities.  During Crystal Wilderness Adventures, the expedition team will accompany the guests ashore. The expedition team is well practiced in polar bear protection and they will have designated “Polar Bear monitors” that will be carrying environmentally-safe non-lethal and lethal deterrents, and other equipment for additional protection. Recommended protocols on group size and behavior will be strictly followed.

Environmental

  • • Crystal Cruises will, as it always has, meet or exceed all environmental regulatory requirements for the regions in which our ships sail with respect to air, water and garbage discharge.  For the Northwest Passage transit this includes the voluntary use of 0.1% sulfur content Marine Gas Oil which is extremely clean burning and is well within the applicable requirements in that region.

    • The Escort vessel accompanying Crystal Serenity will be held to the same environmental standards as Crystal ships, burning the same low-sulphur fuel as Crystal Serenity.

  • Crystal will operate, as it always does, with a “nothing overboard— policy. No garbage or food waste of any kind will be thrown overboard.  Some garbage will be burned in the incinerator on board, while other trash, recycling and food waste will be collected and stored on board the escort vessel. This waste will then be offloaded outside of the Arctic communities into specific collection facilities that are equipped to handle waste. Grey and blackwater discharge parameters well exceed international requirements per Company policy, to include discharge no less than 12 nautical miles from shore, and comminuted and treatment of blackwater via a Type II marine sanitation device.  

Local Community Impact/Footprint

    • Crystal is committed to ensuring that the local Inuit communities are positively impacted by our visit. We have already begun working with local communities, Nunavut Tourism and the Nunavut Impact Review Board, to ensure that our visit will be embraced by the local communities and be respectful of their traditions and daily way of life.

     

    • We have already begun making visits to the local communities to understand firsthand how Crystal can make the most positive impact. We will be discussing a number of ideas, ranging from helping with the construction of new buildings, scholarships for school children or bringing additional medical supplies.  We hope to create easy ways for guests to voluntarily assist the communities along the way, as well.

     

    • In some ports, we will be limiting the maximum number of guests allowed on shore at the same time to only a few hundred (rotations of approx. 100 – 200 at a time).  Guests not booked on Crystal Adventure Shore Excursions will be able to rotate ashore throughout the day in numbers similar to some expedition ships that operate in this region every year.

     

    • Crystal will be making contributions to the local communities. In 2016, this included paper and supplies for the local schools in the community, training for guides, purchase local limited addition arts and crafts for the guests, contributed to local youth organizations and hired many locals for the Community Visits in each port.

Booking Procedures

  • • Approximately 1700 – 634 crew and about 1000 guests


  • • All-inclusive fares begin at $21,855 USD per person for a deluxe stateroom and go to $120,095 per person subject to taxes, fees and port charges. All fare and fees subject to change at anytime. 
    •Initial deposit - 20% will be required to secure the booking, $500 per person of this deposit will be non-refundable.
    • Final Payment – will be due 180 days prior to departure

    Solo Traveler Fares:  For the Northwest Passage cruise (v7320), solo traveler fares are available at 200% of the offered (double occupancy) per person cruise fare, and are subject to the deposit and cancellation guidelines as noted above. Solo Fares are capacity-controlled, subject to change and/or may be withdrawn at any time without notice.     Crystal Society Milestones:  All Crystal Society members will earn four (4) Milestone credits for this voyage. However, milestone redemption is not available on this voyage.

    Early Full Payment Savings: Guests who pay in full 6 months prior to cruise departure will enjoy an additional 2.5% discount off their cruise fare total. Restrictions apply.
